Console Trickster mains how do you do it?

I need some advice & there's no console guide for him currently, unless there is & I just haven't seen it. I found aiming with low sensitivity is the easiest to counter survivors running side-to-side but because of the low sensitivity I'm getting juked whenever I m1. Any advice for better aiming is welcome

I find I do best when holding slightly down while aiming with my knives to basically remove any recoil that occurs, and then hope for the best when surv are running side to side, but usually I just aim in the middle bit which they keep going back to.

I played Trickster on Console and on PC and i have to say he is easier to handle on Console. There is less recoil on Console, or at least it felt like that. Just push your thumb stick slightly down to compensate the vertical recoil and then aim left or right. Its as simple as that.

I can do okay with Trickster on console.

It's just more dedication and limiting yourself

This killer was 100% not even tested with a controller. The response curve is trash in this game and the lack of deadzone settings makes it impossible to keep hitting his flurry of knives. The only way to play him on console is to aim each knife one at a time, but at this point just play Huntress or Deathslinger who do instant damage.

I play Trickster with a controller and it's fine. It used to be really bad but they improved the aiming quite a bit. I recommend starting with the extra blade and ricochet add-ons so it's pretty forgiving to learn him. Once you get the hang of it, it's just as simple as any other range killer.

How do you manage the side to side sway? What's your sensitivity also?

For the sway I take into account which hand the knife will be thrown from and adjust. My sensitivity is at 87 which is just the setting I found that allows me to play pretty much any killer without having to change it every time. I'd probably put it at 75-80 if I was going to play Trickster for a long period.

Havent had any issues so far. Find the right sensitivity Settings and youre good to go.

Just play and play and play and play and play and just maybe you will adapt to play him well then you will realise how bad he is so you wasted a your time for nothing. But atleast he's fun. Pog

I've given up on him. Unless you play against potatoes, it's a guaranteed depip. A controller can't do what is needed to be accurate due to the spread and recoil as well as a lack of controller settings.

But honestly, he still sucks even on PC so what he really needs is a complete rework.

It sucks man, because Huntress at least is relatively well off on console.

Had we gotten the offline bot matches that we were supposed to get with the mid chapter update, you could have used that as an opportunity to practice Trickster instead of trying to do so in online sweaty matches. It's the reason why I haven't bought him yet. I don't want to get steamrolled for hours until I get used to his play style.

Trickster is the only killer I never play, just got him to level 40 for the perks but I'm not going to do that to myself. Used to ignore Blight also but I play him once a month now perhaps because he is better on console now. Huntress is also a killer I very rarely play like four times a year. Nurse though I do very well with on console she is probably even better on PC, but console Nurse is super strong still so no reason to not play Nurse if you are on console.

Strafe aiming for the most part, i don't bother trying to control recoil as it's not worth it with a controller.

Also stay away from faster throwing addons, they're only good if you can hit your Knives and with how hard it is on console it usually feels like a downside to have.

I keep my sens at around 40 so i can M1 chases, i only correct my aim by strafing because it's impossible to do with the right stick with how awful the stick deadzone is in this game.

i played call of duty, battlefield and many other Games (shooter, moba and so on)... so no, i have played lots of shooter on consoles too. Maybe thats why im having no problems aiming with trickster on controller.

The lack of stick deadzones make trickster pretty much unusable with high sensitivity. Until they get to reworking his power, I'd suggest avoiding trickster at all costs

There are Trickster mains on console?

The only reason I've been playing him recently is for his trophies. I've already got his Adept and I'll be done with him after I get his max laceration trophy. He's absolutely miserable to play with.

  • There's a simple trick:

Click on the killer above him in the killer list in the lobby
