With all the DCs happening let's hope BHVR takes notice and reverts Trickster

3 Trickster games in a row with at least 1 DC and hook suicide. I really hope this is an old Legion scenario and the devs take notice of the constant DCs. He really does suck to go against.

Would be nice atleast old trickster was semi fun to play on console

I hope the devs don't act based on people d/cing. You know people are just going to d/c en masse to get things nerfed for no good reason.

I agree when he doesn't have the insane add-on combo. However if he runs Edge of Revival and Cut Thru U you can literally down a survivor from healthy in 8 knives. That isn't a matter of knowing how to loop, you will die no matter what and very quickly.

That doesn't really happen. I can't recall any mass DC campaign that was for no reason. And even then a lot of people DC against Spirit but in my experience not as much as current Trickster.

True, but those addons have been confirmed to be nerfed to no longer work with each other in the near future. I also think they should un-buff the Iridescent Photocard because in its current state it is stupidly powerful and will no doubt be complained about next, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't like the new Trickster, primarily because being a console player the reduced knife count and increased laceration decay makes him next to unplayable for me, but from the 10~ matches I've had against him he's been the very opposite of uncounterable. Then again, I've been mindful to stay away from open areas and get out of low wall tiles quick - not looking forward to the inevitable game on Rotten Fields or Blood Lodge or something.

They don't take notice to all the killers dcing or just giving up when gens fly so why should they.

Because the kill rates contradict that. The average red rank killer destroys the average survivor. Also killers rarely DC at all.

Yeah killers never dc, that's why so many content creators have videos out where they end up making them dc lol.

i think trickster is fine, HIS ADDONS arent tho, those 2 purples together everyone is talking about, the CD and the other one, and the iridiscent one wich exposes survivors are dumb and should get changed.

Ive had dc’S in nearly every game and that includes the fact none have been trickster killers. The dc epidemic has nothing to do with trickster

I thought the penalty is back now, people are still dc’ing?

Trickster to me is starting to remind me of Ghostface players now. Really toxic behavior from killers for no reason. It's not fun to go against, and I just killed myself in a Trickster game where he decided to slug three of us and then hit the person on the hook over and over and over again.

Low wall loops and open areas make up the majority of most maps, and if you are caught out of position you won't be able to make it to a safe tile, even with your sprint burst from getting injured. I've watched a lot of gameplay from him.

If i take the last stats the dev post killer kill an average of 55% of the survivor they face. So i will say if we follow that the game is perfectly balance XD.

Btw for sure the average red rank killer will kill the average survivor because they are rank 10. But lets put the average survivor vs the average killer the game will be tight unless he face a swf if its that the survivor win easy

Wait, they're confirmed nerfing the add-ons? Where'd you hear that?

Trickster is kinda okay though? They should change the unhooking interruption with his power because he's as hard to play around in facecamp situations as a bubba, but that's it, he runs on 44 knives, is super hard to learn and has the hardest time in tall wall loops. Bear in mind he moves at 95% or 90% idk movespeed while holding knives. You can't loop him forever anymore that easily which should be a positive thing right now. Also laceration decays so ######### quickly if you are able to get advantage on him mid chase he's pretty #########.

True rank X Killers destroy true rank X Survivors.

    Games are not "tight."

I'm not sure that BHVR are responsible for a survivor deliberately dc'ing. They certainly are responsible for game crashes due to something their end or game bugs, but if a survivor isn't happy with a killer and dc's because something didn't go their way, that's completely down to the choice of the survivor, so I very much doubt they'll pay any attention to those disconnects.

It's best to adapt and learn. That's where the satisfaction and fun from a game comes from. Also, with so many people playing killer, there are bound to be different approaches that people take towards playing the same killer. It's not just a power, but also how a player utilises it, the perks and add-ons involved, etc..

He feels too strong and too weak at the same time. If you're in a jungle gym, main building, etc. your knives will decay faster than he can land them. If you're in the open it's like he has lasers coming out of his eyes. Since you can hear his lullaby from a mile away you shouldn't get caught out too often.

    Stop calling Trickster "Old Legion"

He's nothing like old Legion. Old Legion was the crutchiest killer they ever added, you couldn't do a thing about him. Trickster is gimped every time the survivor goes to a jungle gym, TL, building, or even a big rock. They're so far from equals that the comparison is comical.

If BHVR based decisions on DCs, they'd delete the game.
