The F13 lawsuit being over could mean Jason comes before Candyman
Just found out the lawsuit is over which is great, but the devs have stated multiple times that Jason has a standing invitation to DBD. It was pretty much guaranteed that Candyman would be the next licensed killer, but since Jason's become available its possible the wait for Candyman will be even longer.

I mean, this is assuming the Devs aren't already working on a Candyman chapter, seeing as how... Well, the new movie is coming out in like a month. Candyman is on everyone's minds right now. Chapters take a while to make, planned in advance. Jason wouldn't change anything if a Candyman chapter is already being worked on/planned.
Is the lawsuit actually over? I'm not calling you a liar, I've just seen people say that at least like... Twenty times on this forum, and it hasn't been true once. It's always a hoax.

Either way, i doubt we will get candyman that soon.

Don't say that... I want it to be August. It's too perfect, the Candyman movie and teaser are almost on the same day. They can't do this to us.

To be honest i rather get a original chapter over candyman.
But either way, i have the feeling we wont get any licenced chapters anymore besides anniversary.

I dont really care that much for licenced ones to be honest. If it isnt something i like, i would rather want a original.
Of course there are still alot of licences i would love to see like Alien, Chucky etc.
I am just not so much into Candyman.
My biggest wish is Castlevania right now. <3
But sadly its more likeley we get 10 Candymans and Jasons instead. :(
Most important is still HOW they do the killers tho. They should be fair but strong and fun for both sides.

Apologies, what they actually said was 4 killers and 5 survivors. So.... I'm thinking one of them has to be licensed. Probably the one with two survivors.
Anyway, ten Candymans and Jasons..? What?
Castlevania would be interesting, but how would it work? Like Dracula would be nuts and I can't seem to think about how the Belmonts (probably spelled their name wrong) perks would be

The one with two survivors was the Resident Evil Chapter
Speaking of the stream (which is where you got the information from) they mentioned that 2 new maps (including the RPD) were coming in this roadmap, so another licensed chapter is possible.

It felt weird hearing her reiterating two survivors like that, the section where she did that was after the resident evil character reveal, so it just seemed to make sense for me to expect two other survivors in a chapter.

It's probably because the chapter hadn't actually been officially released yet, so she may have been talking in what is going to come in the future.

Do not believe it the first time, if it was Corey Feldman who said that information and not a lawyer or owner of the franchise, it means that it is not finished yet. Jason is most likely arriving on an anniversary.

Sadly, the F13 lawsuit is not anywhere near close to being done, in-fact, according to Larry Zerner there's been zero updates on the case. However, with some VERY recent cough rumors cough, this next chapter is looking very likely to be a licensed chapter! :D

I don't know if you ever read this article, but in an interview with Mathieu Cote and ComicBook, Cote stated this:
Judging from the wording, it's likely that Jason will be introduced as a Paragraph or a Chapter.
While it's possible he may be introduced as a Legendary skin, with how iconic he is in the realm of horror, it'd be very disappointing to just have him as a skin and not his own killer.

I imagine there's just various tools around that changes his power and maybe some addons that also allow him to change what tools that spawn on a map
