Can't call yourself skilled when camped

This applies for both sides since the survivor can't show their skill and the killer won't show their skill because for some reason they have a burning hatred for that survivor. Just letting off steam since this clown tunneled me at 5 gens for no reason. In a deadzone as well which suuuuucked.

Like the guy above me said: tunneling is ez win for the killer. Killing a survivor before the 4th gen is done is a guaranteed win for the killer. Blame BHVR for making this fundamental mistake in the game's design, not those who abuse it.

I know this. but this game isn't built for tryharding. before you ask, trying not to bait post. just wanted to waste time on a dc penalty.

Euhm... ever played at red ranks?

In any case not sure why you DC if you were tunneled, as that means you would have died... the more you share... I don't feel any sympathy for those that DC, they are horrible teammates and opponents.

All the killers in this thread supporting tunneling at 5 gens are pathetic no skilled killers

Of course you can call yourself skilled, nothing is stopping you. You can be very skilled at taking the match to 3 on 1 very early. That is a major advantage for killer.

If given the oportunity to do it you'd be silly not to.

Yeah it may not be fun for the person who gets tunneled out (I've been tunneld out plenty of times and it kinda blows) but epxecting other players to hold true to an arbitrary set of made up rules is more foolish than expecting not to be tunneled if the scenario calls for it.

Its not nice but its not unskilled either, one might say burning a team into a major disadvantage at 5 gens is tip top performance from a killer player.

If the killer player is hard tunneling/camping why the hell aren't at least 3 gens done? That's a major failing on the part of survivors to allow that to happen at 5 gens.

You might me surprised, but in sports it could be extremely beneficial to use doping in order to maintain your leading position.

They also try to win, althought for some reason many are surprised.

That's a false equivalency, doping is cheating, tunneling is not.

Don't confuse an arbitrary sense of sportsmanship with a gross breach of the rules.

Yet the use of doping is against the rules, while the acts of camping and tunneling have been stated by the developers themselves to be legitimate strategic elements of the game and within the rules of the game.

Making false equivalents are not valid arguments. You just make yourself look like a fool and showcase your inability to make a valid counter argument.

As someone that plays both sides, the question at that point is more how bad are the survivors to let a killer tunnel a survivor out of the game before even a single gen has been completed. It truly as someone that pretty much only does solo queue is astonishing to even witness such a failure of 4 individuals. It is actually less of a showcase of skill of the killer or a reflection of their ability other than seizing the opportunity presented to them by the survivors to secure an easy win.

So if the best killer in this game is tunneling or camping one game than he's not a skilled player anymore?

Also to be a good camping killer you very much need skill to end chases fast and get fast hooks. The best campers have an overall excellent game knowledge, it's just that people feel better calling them bad or not skilled players when they die in these games.

Tunneling and camping are unfortunately best strategies because as a survivor you need to run perks to stop it and some people like not having to run BT or DS but that's really the survivors fault for not running them. That's why you should always run DS(Tunneling), BT (camping/tunneling), DH/SG(Totems), UB(slugging). Don't run any exhaustion perks though they're bad.

True, someone might have a negative opinion on fellow online gamers if they use certain perks, killers, addons, or offerings. As such, we should all strive for a pure, fun environment, because the respect of people you'll never meet in such a friendly community is all that really matters, and I would hate for someone to view me as an unskilled camper or tunneler, since that would just break my little heart. Imagine not having the respect of fellow players and living up to their epic gamer standards. So sad, really
