So from what i’ve read there is only two servers in the US, West and East (unless this has changed recently and i’m uninformed) I was wondering which server I’d be playing on if I’m in Minnesota? I’m assuming East but no one has been able to give me an answer they’re confident in.

    Tl;dr - you can eventually get either of those, but eastern is a bit more likely to be prioritized.

    NA East is hosted in New Virginia, NA West is located in Oregon. Under a loose assumption of server latency correlating with physical distance (which is mostly true), NA East gives you a slightly better ping and is prioritized while queing. This assumption doesn't take into account the proportion of players in each zone or uneven server capacities, so if in fact 80% of all matches in NA happen on Oregon's servers, you'll end up there more often than not.
