Fellow killer mains what do you see in a lobby that makes you no longer play nice.
For me its an obvious SWF(matching paid cosmetics that look like ######### and arent in a set together or matching names) and keys. Its not so much oh people who use keys or are in a SWF are terrible people and deserve to be tunnelled camped and slugged every match its more that I know that the game is going to be quite a bit tougher and I can't really afford to swap targets constantly and give away free unhooks or else I will lose miserably.

In the lobby specifically? Only inappropriate names. And they have to be something heinous.
3 -
Keys. Thats it. I don't tend to change my playstyle for the game based on what I see in lobby, but then again I'm almost always doing something else and not paying attention to the screen.
5 -
nothing, I play as I do normally and if survivors are showing that I need to loosen my gloves then I will.
Even when I see a key or Haddonfield offering, I play as I do normally because 90% of the time survivors who bring them are terrible
7 -
Keys and 6 second switches. I don't care what you switched to either, it could be a damn map. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
6 -
If I see four flashlights I'm equipping lightborn and not being so merciful in regards to tunneling. I don't care about flashlights per se it's more the people who do that tend to want to be as obnoxious as possible and I don't want the headache so I shut that down right away.
2 -
Keys or 4 flashlights. When those things come into play, all rules are off.
6 -
Survivors
26 -
Keys and people who have toxic in their name or any insults.
4 -
I've been incredibly unlucky with lightborn not showing up in the bloodweb for my main 2 killers, Pyramid Head and Nemesis, so flashlights is my answer lol

Last minute key switchers.
More than one tool box - mainly because, more often than not, they have a BNP. I see them a lot these days.
These two items tell me that they want a fast game. So, I will do my best to give them fast deaths. If they're strong loopers, I'll focus out the weakest link. If I catch one of them and manage to haul their ass into the basement, they're not escaping.
5 -
it would have to be a survivor with a tragically pathetic name that attempts to offend others.
Items are just when I bring Franklin's, there's nothing to it. Keys with no charges can't open hatch and survivors tend to make far more mistakes in an attempt to regain their item.
1 -
- Keys.
- Multiple toolboxes in this event, because it's typically been multiple BNP lobbies.
- Multiple private profiles.
2 -
Keys, but only if it's a last second switch. And formerly multiple blendettes (friendly or otherwise)
2 -
- teabagging at pallets/windows
- clicking flashlight
- using a key
- pallet fakes
- using a map offering
- using a flashlight to blind
- stunning with a pallet
- bringing a med kit
- using the med kit to heal themselves
- using perks
- running away
- doing gens
- breathing at me in a facetious manner when I have stridor equipped
- playing around BBQ
- typing anything in the end game chat
Any of these things will usually annoy me and make me more likely to tunnel a survivor out of the game without any guilt

4 flashlights or keys. If I see that you’re sure that I ain’t playing nice.
1 -
How are they doing that in the lobby? 😏
3 -
Nothing. I always play my game for my fun.
If I lose, well, I lost, new game.
5 -
4keys

key and map. i dont care for one key but with a map, its hands.
0 -
Keys, and only keys.
1 -
Play nice? What is that?
0 -
Keys and last-second switching.
1 -
nothing really, im usually the first to press ready so i can keep watching my youtube video, though i do like equipping lightborn for flashlights and staring them right in the face. it always takes them a few seconds to realize they cant blind you its hilarious

I'm not a killer main, but I dodge the inappropriate names lobbies as well. They usually end up not being the most helpful teammates.
0 -
Kinda hard to react to anything in the lobby when I just start the queue and don't tab back into the game until I hear the match starting 😄
0 -
As a killer main that also plays survivor, i have to ask my fellow killers.... PLEASE if you see a toxic trolling survivor half unhooking someone over and over, please kill them. This fake unhooking crap ruins the game. I've experienced it from both sides about 5 times recently.
The names always give it away in lobby. The people that I myself have experienced toxic gameplay from almost always have the most offensive or just downright stupid names you could imagine. They go into games just to make the dbd experience a poor one for everyone else. I can't tell you how many times i have ignored the non toxic survivor just to smack the idiots. Oh and the half unhookers? I'm close camping you if i see you do that to a teammate. Camping. I'm talking beer by a campfire situation. I will stand in front of you watching you try to jump off and i will be laughing as the entity takes you. I hunt you, you run and do stuff, then you die. It's not hard.
GROW UP.

This is my new favorite post here. You deserve a blood point reward for this.

If I see a key than that survivor is gonna have a rough match.
1 -
Map offerings, other then Macmillan or Coldwind.
1 -
4 toolboxes. I always forget to look for keys with how small they are, but if I saw Keys I'd play less friendly too.
0 -
Nothing but when i suspect it’s a sweat lord SWF, if i see that they mostly have 3k hours i just dodge and queue again. Killer queues be 2 seconds at night.
0 -
Clan tags. If I see multiple people from the same gaming clan; I know it's a SWF and they are 99% of the time going to try to swat-team my butt. The gloves come off, in that case.
1 -
I just bring starstruck and everyone behaves no matter what they bring, it's a really magical perk, if they got 3+ flashlights I'll stick a lightborn too, really helps swf chill out.
Everyone's a gangsta till they got the exposed status.
2 -
Given my experience since a break, there's literally no reason to ever play nice.
1 -
Honestly, 2 things make me not play nice.
1. Map offerings with the exception of mcmillan maps or azarov.
2. Last minute switch, if you do that in my lobby I will not give any kind of mercy nor care for your fun.
1 -
Thats a long list.
0 -
Excessive clicking and t-bagging is really the only thing to make me taunt back or play rudely.
I don't really like playing "nice" though. I have been kicked in the teeth by too many groups to ever want to take it easy again. I won't tunnel or camp, but if you were just unhooked and I can't find your savior, that's not my problem anymore.
1 -
Nothing.
2 -
I have a tiered list of how much I am going to sweat based on what I see in the lobby:
Bloody Cosmetics - I'd take the game a little more seriously, but I wouldn't really sweat.
Bloody Quentin/Dwight - I'd actually start considering using powerful add-ons since no joke, these guys tend to be the best loopers in the game with the best game sense in the entire planet.
Keys - Cracks knuckles
Keys, Maps & Hatch Offerings - I'm going to just fully camp the person with the key. At that point I'm not really going to have fun, so why should the person who brings the key?
Multiple Toolboxes - I'd be more focused on creating a 3-gen. The first two generators are basically free at this point so I wouldn't even try to defend them.
Multiple Medkits - I'd change my playstyle. No need to hit someone if I could get a down instead. That goes for people trying to bodyblock during chase.
Haddonfield Offerings - I just don't. I'm leaving the game AFK for a while. If they really want to win that badly, I'll just give them the win. But without the fun. The difference between this and Keys, Maps & Hatch Offerings is that with Haddonfield, God House and House of Pain is just... no.
If I get the map randomly, I'd play it. But if someone brings me there, I just refuse.
2 -
If I see more than one survivor in the lobby I lose my goddamn mind. No more Mr Nice Guy
2 -
If they have a name which is insulting, heinous, etc. I mean, I dodge, no matter what role I play.
Outside of that... I play as usual. As I'm an inexperienced Killer, I feel nervous if I see paid cosmetic/old rift cosmetic, but it doesn't change the way I will lose.
(Matchmaking is always rude to me, but having such good Survivors to go against started to teach me things instead of getting me upset.)
2 -
last second switch to a key : i'll focus the key holder.
If they also burn offerings that prove they are SWF with the key holder : i'll just turn into monsterloo and show no mercy.
Happened yesterday : last second switch to key + offering for hatch + offering for luck + offering to Asarov... that last one as i was nice an burnt a cake, was the last drop ahah

Key? = Franklins.
2 or more flashlights? = Lightborn.
Both served with complimentary NOED and a side order of Mori.
2 -
Only last minute switches or multiple flashlight P3 SWF lol

This man knows the perfect anti-######### play. Exposed status makes 'em act right, every time.

Nothing, I usually ready up once I’m in a lobby without looking at the survivors. Most likely I have a tab open watching YouTube or browsing some website, like these forums.

Normally nothing. I play for BP and action for the survivor anyways.
I use the minute in the lobby (because there is ALWAYS one that does not ready up) to check profiles for swf. Not that I would change anything because of that.
But a last second switcher or excessive attention whoring in game gets people on my ignore list. Inverted tunneling so to speak. I hope they have fun clicking their finger sore or sitting on gens but when I ignore them completely than their skill is irrelevant. Except I have bbq eauiped then I will maybe try to check how good they are to get my stack, if they are way better than me in looping then back to ignoring.

Mostly keys, but 6 second swapping to anything annoys the hell out of me. I dont even care WHAT you swapped in.

As a survivor, if I'm put into a lobby with identical neon Nea's or a lobby with keys, and if I see killer after killer leave, then I quickly book it.
A) Time wasted waiting for a killer
B) I don't want to face such a killer who feels confident enough in their skill to face them, as it usually means extra sweaty/scummy plays, and solo queue is already hard enough
1 -
If I'm spending Bloodpoints and then swapping to the survivor I had originally intended to play with, what time should I make the switch to not upset killers who react this way?
