is it normal for the game to randomly lose connection?
So this isn't the first time it happened to me but it just happened again just like always in a really good match I randomly get the black screen with the dead by daylight logo on it and get sent to the main menu with the error message "no internet connection" or something like that. I can't be the only one having this because my internet wasn't the problem there everything else was working.

Literally just got this like 5 minutes ago. I’m glad I wasn’t in a game though. Platform is PC and in NA region if it helps.

I think Steam's down. It has always been a Tuesday thing where Steam throws a fit so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

Steam servers are downed cause of maintenance.
When Steam is downed, DbD kicks Steam players from their matches (even if the match not ends).

This. It frequently happens on Tuesdays.

It's happening every week and it's ok.
The problem is that devs broke the thing that allowed you to finish the match some patches ago.
