I’m going to be a Plague main at this point
Yes, I’m saying it right now that I’m going to be a part of the club that consists of 4 people that main the Plague. I’ve been playing her nonstop for the past few days, barely playing any other killer. I've only played others for a daily but once I got those done, it's back to Plague. I've never felt this dedicated to learning a killer since when I started playing Spirit, and that's saying something because a lot of you know my connection with Spirit.
Now I’m still not great with her yet. I’m getting better but the skill cap to Plague is through the roof. I’ve been watching Otz and his Plague playthroughs as he is very knowledgeable of her. That has certainly helped me out.
Seriously, if you haven’t tried her out yet please give her a go. She’s so powerful and fun if you know how to play her and she doesn’t get enough recognition. I hardly ever see her as survivor and it’s very sad.

Eh. Even if I could get past the dedicated puke hit box robbery I’m still not sure why I would play her.
I can play a 115 ranged killer with Pyramid or Nemesis, and don’t need to rely on survivors to give me my power.
At her best, which is her with the wallhacks addon and stealth perks, she is a bootleg tier 3 Myers/Ghostface who maybe gets to use her power every now and then. At her worst she’s an M1 killer with some utility.
Also, I’d never be able to train myself to hard respect pallets. I run enduring too much for that.

Seems like those are some reasons no one ever plays her. She does get ######### by dedicated servers and it does rely on the survivors giving you your power but I still love her.

I find Plague pretty fun

Oh yeah she’s very fun. Puking on people is satisfying.

I... can vouch for this.
Went from a Clown main to Twins main and to a Plague main recently, and she is definitely a powerful killer even without addons.
The good part is, she's forgiving enough where if the survivors know what they are doing (i.e. not cleansing 24/7) it's a fair match between the killer and survivors.
Her vomits are long but inconsistent, she lacks any mobility and she has weak map pressure. But in the right hands, she can be a deadly killer.
Good design, the Plague. Don't understand why people don't play her more often.

It does get annoying when survivors don’t cleanse which is part of the reason people don’t play her. Still wish that she could get more love though because she’s incredibly underrated.

Started running Thana with Corrupt on her more often and that seems to generally motivate at least "that one person", that each team has, to cleanse. Fun stuff.

I run those perks on her as well.

I really enjoy playing Plague, but on survivor I run very strong healing-centric builds so I'm pretty much perkless when vs. Plague.
I get knocked out of corrupt by getting bonked by a pallet too surprisingly often, but disabling the survivor sprint on getting hit and just downing someone by staying on them for a few seconds is so strong. It's great.
Not a great killer to pip with, but great fun to play if cartoon vomit doesn't squick you out.

She is a lot of fun. Used to play her nonstop after release but im too rusty now to want to go back

Plague will probably be the next killer I'll P3 50. Who knows, maybe I'll be the 6th, 7th, maybe 8th (ah who am I kidding) Plague player if I enjoy her more. Plus she has really cool perk synergy, a nice skill cap, and interesting add-ons.

I absolutely adore her she's my favorite I just don't play her often because lately the ghost puke problem is happening multiple times in every match.
When I use vile purge to directly hit a survivor and they flinch and scream they should be getting infected. Them not getting infected AT ALL is a massive detriment and waste of precious time. I've had it happen three times in a row on the same person in chase and by that point it's not even worth it anymore.
If they fix that problem I would main her full time. Playing her has taught me to respect pallets and be patient for 4ks. Corrupt Purge allows you to do things other killers can only dream of. Her addons are all fun and useful. Black incense is disgusting. Ugh I just love everything about her

Great you enjoy her too. I dreaded playing her, until I learned how to do it. Now she's one of my favourites.

I'm learning Deathslinger right now
If they fixed Plague's hitboxes I would give it a try too

She is one of the most fun killers to play for me. And occasionally the most frustrating. In particular when early in the match BHVR's glorious design decides that the vomit produces mostly "ghost hits", meaning you get all the bell and whistle effects but no actual hit. I more than once lost the will to even attempt continuing the trial with this crap-iola.
Feels like being in a multi-player FPS and for some reason having just a nerf gun as only person in the match. And considering that these "ghosties" produce the effects of a real hit, so you're confident you did hit, there's not much I can do apart from not using any vomit at all.
At which point there's no reason to play Plague at all any more.
And remind me again, how long has this bug/feature been around already again?

I tried that build on Plague that @TheClownIsKing advised. It's Hysteria, Blood Echo, Thanatophobia, Dying Light.
But I replaced Dying Light with BBQ.
This build is very strong on smaller maps, but on Ormond and Coldwind I couldn't make more than 2 kills.
This build always makes survivors want to cleanse without exceptions. But on big maps all my fountains often were inconviniently far away from me. Survivors often smart enough to not give me fountains that easy to reach. And sometimes my spray control is absolute garbage and I can't down survivor in the dead zone.
But I had several good games.

I like her but goddamn the BP gain is so bad I'm basically paying BP to play her

I've gone against a no mither player as plague who kept cleansing. Bet his teammates were happy with him.

I would love to play Plague, but I just can't get over the fact that her ability is still broken even to this date with no fix in sight. If you charge the vomit to the lowest point possible for a quick puke attack, the puke which plague releases upon survivors goes through them with no effect. Also, if you charge the meter even lower than that, the ability cancels itself while still holding you hostage to the cooldown effect.
I can't enjoy playing her just like I can't enjoy playing Blight with its broken collision boxes where he just slides off many objects instead of bumping into them and continuing his dash. It's very annoying when losing survivors due to these technical problems.

I enjoy her but I don’t like fountain spawns and how buggy she is which is why I’ve stick to clown

Favorite part when playing plague is arching her vomit so high that it reduces it's distance enough where you can hit survivors on the other side of high walls.

Most I play her us for daily tasks. Idk she just doesn't appeal to me. Same with twins but thats because they feel clunky.

When all the available corrupted fountains are in inconvenient, far off locations, and the survivors are now realising it’s dangerous to stay broken, then the goal should be to yet again get everyone infected ASAP, and THEN control the area of gens where remaining pools of devotion remain. This becomes a very dangerous situation for the remaining survivors. Wait for one to make the mistake of being too reckless trying to use a fountain while you’re close by, or if someone is silly enough to lead a chase relatively close to one the closest available of the corrupted fountains. I only ever activate CP mid chase. It’s almost always worth the 16ish metre deviation to grab CP mid chase.
Plague is a management game, no different than old Freddy.

I’d like to add that unless you want the extra bp from bbq, then plague really doesn’t need that tracking.

I want to play plague, but I can't hit the broad side of a barn with Huntress's hatchets, what would I even be able to do with Plague's Corrupt Purge?
0 -
Precision is less important with corrupt, just charge it up and spray it all in their general direction. It's more important with vile purge where you want as much of the spray as possible to go into them - survivors often start dodging and spinning as soon as you start charging it so just back up and unleash it all into them. Or you can just splash them with a bit of it and go after someone else leaving them to break or cleanse on their own.
