Survivor Perk Idea: Finders Keepers
Hyello people of the Fog! I created a perk a while back called Finders Keepers that would allow survivors to find, carry, switch, and possibly escape with 2 items. I thought now and days it could be a bit more useful with the few select archive challenges requiring someone to search a certain amount of chest. I always thought we as survivors should be capable of carrying more items, I mean have you seen some of our cosmetics? We have like a million pockets and backpacks and yet we've never thought about tossing some items in them? It'd also be easier to run a DBD store in game with this perk (Or a WAP as Demi Plays likes to call it), and just imagine the Samination animations making jokes about this perk lol! Let me know in the poll what you think about the idea, cause I hope we can one day see a perk like this in game. (P.S. sorry for the bad perk drawing, It was drawn by me using a mouse and keyboard lol)...

Only becomes active upon starting a trial (Not pre game): You use all that is available to you to ensure your absolute survival. Allows a survivor to carry, use, switch, and possible escape with 2 items, item consumption is decreased by 15%
This is one of the perks I created for a DLC idea I had a while back. I know these survivors got some type of pockets on them. Surely they're smart enough to pack up them pockets a little bit while out and about trying to survive in the fog. They've been there a while, they got that street smart by now. Let me know what you all think!

Yes! Wait... We have pockets?
I'll try to make a better perk icon for this perk later or probably commission my friend to bring the design to life so it looks more appealing, but I just got excited and made it quickly. I'll try to update the design soon.

No - Survivors are cuter when clueless about pockets and bags
They have two hands, duel wield that #########

Lol see! I feel like the Entity stole a few of the survivors brain cells when they were pulled into the fog - They can hold more than one thing in their hands!

Maybe - Devs please review and decide our fate!
I think keeping and being unable to use a second item if you escape might be okay, but being able to bring in or find two and use them would be a bit unbalanced.

I think as long as you can only carry one of each item. 2 green med-kits would be broken tbh.

Yeah. The perk could only be active once the trial started - not pre lobby. In a lobby you could of course bring one item as we've always been capable of, but that would take up one slot of finders keepers once the match started and you could then search a chest to obtain your second item. People could of course run Plunderers with Open handed and Appraisal but I don't feel many would cause then they'd be down 4 perk slots that could be used to keep them alive longer rather than going on a full on treasure hunt - unless of course they wanted to open a DBD shop in game.

What I mean tho is like, imagine having a green med-kit with double charge add-ons, bringing the perks Pharmacy (which guarantees another green med-kit from a chest), Built to Last (recharges your item by 50% after it depletes), and Finders Keepers, and being able to quickly heal yourself for a total of 4 times because of those 3 perks. It'd be broken af.
As long as you can't have 2 medkits or 2 of the same type of items in general at once, I think the perk idea is pretty cool.
