Survivors keep finding my traps

Like 20 seconds without fail anything I put down gets popped. How does Trapper win? Whenever I play Survivor against Trapper I have no idea how to find them without stepping on one, unless it's by killer shack or something obvious like that

Trapper is one of the weakest killers so if you want to win he isnt the choice, he can definetly do well if mastered but still below every other killer. Try putting them in unexpected spots and hidden by objects.

Use the iridescent stone addon and just place ur traps where you want and let them pop the traps :), that addon made trapper so much better.

Whenever I play trapper I usually get a 4K, so I’d say these two tips are pretty good:

•Chase them into traps you set down previously, it’s a basic tip but it will usually work since they can’t disarm a trap with you behind them. A place I like is patches of grass, survivors usually won’t expect it, especially if it’s in like the middle of the map.

    •Trap places in strange ways

For the last point I’ll elaborate. I trap shack, obviously, but in a different way. Leave one fo the doors or window trapless. Usually survivors assume since there was no trap there, there won’t be a trap anywhere. For example I played on Dead Dawg once, and I left the window untrapped, but trapped both doors. A survivor clearly ran in there when I found them and chased after them, but they made the error of assuming there were no traps (since she vaulted the window) and that’s the end of her story.

TL;DR: Trap weird places, not obvious ones, and leave a shack entrance open.

Run whisper that way you can know if survivors are near you. If you don't see the perk activate then it should be safe to place the trap.
