What is your favorite Non Meta perk builds you use?
I think I asked this before but I want to know again
What is your go to survivor or killer perk builds that doesn't use meta perks like Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Ruin, ect?

I love running the all aura build : Windows of Opportunity + Visionnary + :
- option 1 : Open Handed + Kindred
- option 2 : Open Handed + Bond
- option 3 : Bond + Kindred
The Claudette build is also very strong : Botany K + SelfCare + Empathy + We'll Make It
This one can be turn into the silent heal : Botany K + SC + Bite the Bullet + Desperate Measures

Anything involving Flashbangs is my go to. Otherwise maybe a Plunders build to get flashlights, though I'd usually keep on Dead Hard for these games.
Most likely time to not run meta builds is when I'm playing in my 4 man swf and we're having our drinking/meme night.

I like using Oppression + Tinkerer + Bamboozle + Coup de Grace
1 -
Bamboozle is amazing.
2 -
Gearhead and oppression on clown. Other 2 perks vary

Open handed is a personal favorite of mine. Its like Franks Red Hot. I put that ######### on everything.
i have a build on wraith i like that uses coulrophobia, distressing, sloppy and nurses. who needs gen regression when you ARE the regression. youre like the ugly kid nobody wants to hang out with. I seriously recommend trying this on Midwich.

Alert, Leader, and Open-Handed

Currently I like to use Lullaby and Oppression on Freddy, paired with the Add Ons which increase Skill Check-Penalties.
Works good, if Lullaby stays up. But it is basically hit or miss.

Lithe + Windows of Opportunity + Lightweight + Dance with Me

I like to run a very situational build a lot as survivor. Unbreakable / Tenacity / Flip Flop / Power Struggle.
And I love a full hex build on Trapper. Ruin / 3rd seal / Haunted Grounds / Undying w/ the hurt yourself for disarm trap add on.

Jane, the locker queen: Head-On, Flashbang, Quick and Quiet, Dance with Me
Freddy, the Hex Nightmare: Devour Hope, Haunted Ground, Ruin, Undying

Love this! I do something similar:
Open Handed + Kindred + Visionary + Bond
or
Open Handed + Kindred + Visionary + Empathy
Depends which survivor has bond or empathy. I find Empathy to be less useful with Open Handed because it already has a large range, but nerf bloodwebs for not giving my other survivors Bond.
1 -
Is there interaction between Open-Handed and either Leader or Alert? I started using Leader recently.
0 -
Nothing can ever beat the ol' Flip-Flop, Power Struggle, Tenacity and Unbreakable in terms of sheer fun.
4 -
My stealthy Cheryl build:
Urban Evasion, Iron Will, Diversion, Spine Chill.
Don't worry, I don't crouch across the map. I just love using Urban to break off from chases and throw the pebble. Really fun build.
1 -
For survivor: Flip Flop, Boil Over, Tenacity and Unbreakable.
Or unhooking + healing others build.
For Killer I really like Bloodhound due to my attention span.
0 -
Total silence build for survivor. Iron will, Quick and quiet, Calm spirit and Bite the bullet.
0 -
Right now I'm running empathy, self-care & distortion. The extra slot, I've been running calm spirit or wake up. I never run meta perks, unless it's a challenge requirement. I don't know why.

Alert and Leader are good on their own. But for Open-Handed pair it with Kindred or Bond for great informational
1 -
Oh, OK. Thought you were saying something different. Coolbeans.

This is my usual non meta build:
0 -
As far as i know, no. Leader is no aura reading perk and Alert works across the entire realm.
0 -
I do like bond, open handed, kindred and windows. But I am a glutton for information.

My main build I love to use
- Desperate Measures (the cornerstone of the build basically, the ability to unhook fast is really handy for Borrowed Time and the fast heal speed works great with FTP so I might not have to use it)
- For The People (my self-sacrifice perk, mainly used for survivors on death hook or to get Dead Hard active)
- Borrowed Time (my unhook perk, you know what it does and why it's here)
- Dead Hard (my self-survival perk, this is mainly used to grab survivors off hook in desperate moments when a killer is near or the timer is about to go down, or to get myself out of trouble if I just used FTP).
This is what I think is the most versatile altruism build that can come in clutch at almost every moment and can do some epic plays.

Oppression. I run it on like almost everybody. I love it.
0 -
On survivor its spine chill resilience and on killer its stbfl and surge.
0 -
I have never got power struggle to work.
I've gotten the struggle bar to 25% and never seen the option to throw down a pallet. What am I doing wrong.
Also, do you throw the pallet down like you would normally throw pallets down, with the spacebar or do you use the "action" key?

Q&Q + Head On + Dance With Me + DS
DS is only one meta perk on this build but i have to use it because it works so well with this build
0 -
I don't know what all perks are considered meta, but excluding the ones I THINK are:
Visionary + Detective's Hunch + Inner Strength + Flashbang (since I'm already in the locker)
0 -
My goto on twins isnt that meta. Most of the perks are like strong ones you see fairly often but not like ruin pop etc. Usually run STBFL or BBQ with nurses sloppy and crowd control.
0 -
I have a BP farming build I love to use: WMI, BT, WGLF, Kindred.
And a healing build: WMI, BK, Desperate Measures, WGLF.
0 -
resilience, desperate measures, botany knowledge and selfcare I call it the duck tape build because it fixes everything with resilience's 9% + desperate measure's 14% per injured survivor + botany knowledge's 33% it = 56% to 98% faster healing meaning that if I am the only injured survivor I can selfcare with a 6% faster heal than a addonless common med kit for the whole match and if everyone is injured I can self heal at 48% faster speed not even an anti heal build can slow me down.
legions hate me.
its only weakness is plagues which basically makes me perk less but barely anyone plays her.

Currently:
Survivor: Dead Hard, No Mither, Desperate Measures, Resilience. The “do everything faster” build.
Visionary, WoO, Wake Up, Open Handed. The “fine, I’ll do everything myself” build.
Doc: Distressing, Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Unnerving Presence.
Or...
M&A, Overcharge, Oppression, Dark Devotion, Double Calm add ons.
Twins: 3 teachables and Lightborn.
Freddy: 3 teachables and No Way Out.
Plague: 3 teachables and Blood Echo.
Clown: Coulrophobia, Deathbound, Forced Penance, Sloppy.

Gearhead + Devour on Freddles
0 -
Oh, and also Bite The Bullet, OoO, Self Care, Sole Survivor. The “eventually you can’t even find me with A Nurse’s Calling” build.
0 -
why object?
0 -
to know if they have Nurses Calling I'm guessing
0 -
So I can get tabs on the killer, get info on what aura reading (if any) that they’re using, and to know what SS will and will not protect me from being f I get tokens.

Iron Grasp.
Agitation.
Mad Grit.
Starstruck.
Inspired by a guy called Benjo on YouTube, this is a build I've dubbed "The Carry Build".
Pair with a TTV who is willing to play along for maximum memes.
1 -
My build is usually: Kindred (I play solo queue mostly), Balanced, a totem perk (small game, Detective's or Counterforce) I usually also run BT but that's meta so in it's place I guess Windows of Opportunity or a fun perk like the pebble.
0 -
Are you wiggling when the killer picks you up or carrying you? I've only used it briefly in the past but I think I remember you don't wiggle. And yes, the button for power struggle should be the same as your pallet throwing button so space since you're on PC.
0 -
Knockout + third seal + undying + lethal pursuer. Enjoy unmitigated slugging and survivors rage when you don't let them use DS and BT. Swap out lethal for deerstalker if youd rather have info over early game aggression
0 -
Opression, Eruption, Pop, and tinkerer on freddy. One of my favorite effective semi-meme builds on any killer. So many gens blow up. you can just insta teleport to them and punish survivors, super fun but it won't win you a ton of games unless you're good at freddy.
