Iron Will......
This perk is so busted and the devs take away the only counter to it. Why do you guys allow survivors to make 0 sound when injured? This perk literally is on EVERY survivor now. its broken they dont breath when injured either which is also bs. How can someone hold their breath and run!!!! lol keep it up devs

Yo, I was getting jebaited so hard on RCPD by the "fake" blood pools in some of the hall ways. But that's more to do with the map, imo, the perk is fine.

Well, for one, there's a challenge in the tome to us Iron Will, so that's why you're seeing it even more.
Also, there have been a few nerfs to other perks that have made them not worth using anymore. Two perks I always ran as a survivor have been nerfed (Small Game and DS), and Dead Hard is useless with the console problems and the fact that it fails about half the time anyway. That's why I've been running Iron Will, not to mention it's a good perk. It's definitely not on every survivor though. And if it were, so what? Almost every killer uses BBQ. Both are good perks, that's why people use them. Another perk that I sometimes ran as a solo survivor was OOO, which was also nerfed.
So blame the devs for ruining other good perks and making a tome challenge to use one of the few remaining ones.

If someone is running Lucky Break+Iron Will that sounds like nothing but an absolute win to me. Requires a major LOS breaker to get value out of that combo, and unless they're running Self Care, they'll either be running out of medkit charges before long or their teammates have to hop off objectives to heal them.
Rather see Iron Will with Lucky Break then seeing nothing but DH, UB and DS.

I don't even get the logic behind "just use your eyes."
Like my bad let me see the survivor over the wall they're behind with no perks or addons to do so.

Iron will should not remove breathing sounds from injured, thats a bug

It is broken, but what can you do? Too many survivors like it. Not being able to hear survivors is the most frustrating thing in this game, if not from bugs then from this perk. And that's just the way they like it.

No it's LITERALLY not on every survivor. Hyperbole doesn't reinforce your position it actually undermines it.
I have played just over 3500 hours in DBD - around 1700 of that as survivor and have ran Iron Will MAYBE 5 times. BHVR just released the top 3 perks ran by survivors and Iron Will isn't even in the top 3. F

this was before the stridor change. out of 5 games there are 18 Iron wills. So I don't really care what this says . Watch any of my recent vods and you will clearly see almost EVERY survivor running it

Given that there's an acknowledged bug where Iron Will is also incorrectly removing the breathing sounds from injured survivors it's clearly "busted" at the moment.

Thats also including some really out of date data though. Iron will just got buffed in that it now completely trumps any perk/addon that would otherwise make survivors louder. If you look at the bottom of the picture you showed, thats utilizing data from as far back as 2017. Perks have been added/changed since then, so utilizing data so old at all is pretty disingenuous. Not blaming YOU on that one but whoever at BHVR utilized 4 year old data to claim which perks are currently popular.

I actually wondering why they are not gives us year stats. Then we can see changes.
For example, last stats shows us escapes and kills are so near each other. But survivors were strongest role in game. And for years survivors escaped so much. Possibly this made escape rate higher but i am sure stats for year 2020 is not high. But we never will know because they are not giving us stats.

I dont know, im just pointing out that if your utilizing 4 years worth of information...of course perks that have been out for 4 years are going to be more used over the span of 4 years than perks that have been out for 1 year.

You do realize that is data collected from over a period of ~1400 days right, a little under 4 years, and till patch 2.3.0 healing time was 12 seconds instead of 16, on top of it being one of the most common perks to be used by new players the stats are heavily weighted towards self care being the top perk over other perks like iron will because it used to be much stronger and is still a magnet for new players

Probably because they don't want to be accused of hypocrisy, since their stats rarely coincide with their opinion. They once said "every perk has its use and all perks are equally useful", and it doesn't require actual stats to see that it's BS. They also never showed how the kill rate depends on the fact whether or not survivors in the game were in SWF, since they know perfectly well that with SWF kill rate is lower than ~30% and much much higher for solo survivors, but since they intend to never change SWF in any way at all, they want to keep people quiet about this core issue of the game.

Good points my friend. I just can give one example from my experiences. When i play solo, this is mean i will play really bad game if i am not lucky. But most times when i play with my friends, even we dies games are more fun and we had chance. And i am escaping so much with my friends.
I am sure this is same for most people. But they are not giving us stats. Because if they do that, people will talk about this and then they will have to change this. So keeping them in secret is more safe.

They actually HAVE released a chart awhile back showing the difference in average killrate for SWF and such. It actually wasnt THAT much of a difference (was under a 10% difference between a 4 man SWF and 4 solo Q). I'll see if I can track down THAT chart for ya if ya wanna see it, although it is abit old by this point.

Wow the devs screwd this one up. I bet it was in hopes to nerf spirit not realizing they nerfd a bunch of playstyles and addons an perks. if it nerfs strider thats just stupid. You used to have to combine off the record or no mither to get the same effect so essentially survivors just got a free perk slot.

This is a 2 YO graph they released awhile back showing survival rates based on party size. They had various charts showing killer pickrates, average kills for each killer as well as a chart for specifically red rank killers. While the data is kinda screwy since matchmaking can oftentimes be a complete mess... I wouldnt say they're hiding anything and it's completely false that they have NEVER shown SWFs info.

many survivors are upset when they realize you have noed. The last survivor will want to tbag you at the gate, that's why i leave a survivor dying at the end so when the last survivor open the gate, you hook a survivor and you can catch the last one because he will be waiting for you to make fun of you but you will have a surprise prepared for him.

I'm far more interested in a graph that does not include data from years and years ago(July 2017). Why would they even release such meaningless perk info or at least not break it down by year? They always obfuscate their data when releasing in such a way that its almost impossible to draw anything meaningful from it.

bitter mummur so you know where are the survivors for 7 seconds, if you have noed instadown when you find them and bloodwarden for the last survivor that is wating for you at the gate
instadown a survivor wait for his allie open the gate. hook your survivovr and youre ready to go
I did it so many times in my games because survivors always want to bully you at the gate

It's almost the same as chasing a healthy survivor.
'Almost' because IW does indeed remove breathing sounds, but breathing is not audible over chase music anyway except on a few survivor characters.
So, if you can chase healthy survivors, you can chase Iron Will users.

when you are certain killers and when you are looking for someone and when a survivor is healthy you can here them breathing as they run in a jungle gym and what not. Iron will Completely takes that way. You may not be able to hear it But I can certainly hear the breathing from a Healthy survivor in chase.

As I said, that is possible, but not on all characters. Some have distinctively loud breathing that can be heard, mainly because they also vocalize a little. But most others are too faint and drowned in the chase music, especially with sounc occlusion on top of that.
