Feature/Mods to Make Killer become 3rd Person Point of View
Do BHVR consider to make a Killer gameplay become 3rd person point of view or any mods that capable doing this ?

That would be worse than stretched resolution. Killers have a first person perspective for a reason.

Why would you ever want this? The last thing you need is killers with gap closers to see behind them.
Hnnf a Nurse who can see around corners would be absolutely god awful to play against.

A very large part of DbD's gameplay is centered around the asymmetry in the cameras. It would be a different game if Killers had 3rd person camera.

This makes me think, would a first person survivor mod be alright? It would only hinder the survivor from what I can think of.

A First Person Survivor Offering. make it legendary ultra rare and it just fixes the camera inside the survivors head.

Would it be as easy at that? Survivors movement was made with third person in mind, or at least I assume so.

Oh pls no. The game is designed for killers to have first-person and survivors to have third-person. This just won’t work ever.

Yea i think first person survivor movement would feel extremly weird.
If you ever played GTA 5 in firat person you know how it would feel like. ;(

Would definitely affect different killers differently. Feel like a 3rd person perspective would make Deathslinger pretty unplayable. Theres also the issue of the character model itself getting in the way of view. Imagine losing sight of survivors because Nemesis or Oni is so damn big and covering so much of the screen that you cant see the survivor directly infront of you.

I think they said in the early stage they think about that but in their opinion killer was too strong. I agree with that honestly i would like the FoV to be better

What exactly would a 2nd person pov be, considering in writing it involves saying that "you" do/did/will do something, and this cannot translate into video games?

It's either First Person (You're seeing through the character's eyes)
Or 3rd person (You're seeing from outside the person you control. As if you were another person in the world)
A second person camera would be a viewpoint set from the perspective of another character in the game and not controllable by the player. Like if you could be one of the crows but could not control the crow.

Kind of, but only if those camera angles were, say, Lickers or other monsters that were spying on you. Whereas '3rd person' cameras infrequently actually have 'persons' attached to them, 1st and 2nd person cameras are tied to actual 'persons' in the game world.

No, I get what your saying. You brought up seeing things from the perspective of the crows, which would resemble resident evil's camera in that it was always fixed in some random spot above you.
Sidenote, supermario 64 had a cameraman follow you around on a cloud, so TECHNICALLY I suppose THAT was 2nd person.

I do think a option to go first person survivor would add some interesting flare and its not like survivors have to enable it. Also makes the game kinda feel scary again imo.

That would unironically be cool as a 2nd mode I remember cod modern warfare 2 had a third person mode and it was strange

A Survivor perk to play in First Person and all BP gains are tripled, with no cap. I'd do it.

My roommate is currently watching a Markiplier video for a horror game called The Possession Experiment that is doing a 2nd person POV. You control a person on security monitors while your POV is from whoever is watching the monitors. It's kind of odd

There was an old PS2 game that was the same way. It used some sort of microphone to tell the character to shoot, punch, get item, etc. You played the person on the security cams trying to guide the heroine through the complex.

Microphone controls need to die and never return. I still remember trying to make Hey You Pikachu work on the N64
