DS, Adepts, and Aim Assist are still borked
was trying to get my bubba adept, so I don't have the luxury of bringing perks to help me. Hooked a feng min, then an injured Ace immediately in my face unhooks. I swung, intending to lunge around feng min but the aim assist forced the hit onto the feng min during her i-frames, robbing me of the down. She bodyblocks me from going after the Ace because with her borrowed time, forcing me to chase her off the hook. She runs into a locker, and because I can't afford to wait out her DS I risk opening it. DS'd, she runs away immune. Pressure/Adept ruined. Survivors have perks that offer them these huge safety nets, and when they take them off to get their adepts all they have to do is escape to get it. As killer, you have to rely on survivors being very boosted if you want to stand any chance of getting an Adept as it requires a MERCILESS victory. That's an insane requirement and it should be lowered to a 4k. DS should not activate in lockers because thats just garbage. Killers cannot afford to sit out the minute, so they eat the DS or leave. Tunneling was never my intention but survivors have the ability to force it on you with BT bodyblocking.

This thread looks great next to the other thread with complains about "BT not saving against tunneling". If you bodyblock with your BT, you are demanding the Killer to tunnel you, not leaving him any choice.

Thats more an issue with Adept if anything, i mean, you are basically crippling yourself by using 3 specific perks that may or may not help you with their respective killers (Huntress being a prime example of horrendous perks)
Cant really complain much about what the survivors bring when youre forcing yourself to do a challenge like that, thats pretty much the main reason im attempting the adepts right now that my rank is really low, since one i dont know how to play most killers nor im a good at it due to lack of experience on top of being forced to use their 3 perks only.

It's more an issue with emblems. As a survivor, you can easily escape with the hatch, just stay long enough for it to open. As the killer, you have do sweat and babysit survivors for those emblems. They should just change the requirement from "merciless" to just "3+k", since it's what is counted as a victory by most players.

Yeah they should, the game is know for being unfair to one side with this kind of things, an example being the crowns, while the killer just has to touch it, the survivors had to escape with it.

Let me get this right - you knew that she has DS, you open the Locker, fully expecting that she will stun you with her DS and after you get stunned, you complain that she had DS?

If you hit someone with BT and they want to force a ds with a locker, they will god down bc of the mending timer. You still cant hook them, but atleast you can slug them.
Imo adept is really pointless. You dont get anything from it and its incredible hard or incredible easy depending on your rank. You will get it for "free" when we all start at rank 20 every month with the MMR-system.

If anything I think the requirements for achieving killer adepts should be lowered slightly. Compared to survivor adepts it's so much more difficult and it doesn't make sense. Especially with how wonky emblems can be for each killer.

Naw. you can still go after the other person. tunneling requires focusing on downing someone to immediately hook them again, you can knock them down if they get in your way, but if you then go after the other person if there are more then two survivors left, it's fair game. just let person 3 heal them back up (and then go after person 3).

My point is that he doesnt need to do it if its no fun and that it will be a lot easier in the future anyway.

Yup. If I leave, I waste time. If I wait out the DS I waste time. If I open it and get DS'd, I waste time. If I open it and she doesn't really have DS, that's the only potential outcome where I don't have my time wasted so of course I'm going to risk it. She forced the tunneling, then forced the choice of risking DS, so I am going to complain about it being abused. You saying that I knew the risk therefore I have no right to complain has no logical basis & really says nothing.

Are you telling me that when I drop after a survivor & swing midair, causing my camera to 360 & miss, that its not aim assist being jank?
Are you telling me that when I swing for a survivor and my camera jerks towards a tree & slaps it, its not aim assist being jank?
Are you telling me that when I lunge to the left of a survivor with the intent of changing the direction of my lunge back towards the front of them to get another survivor, but it jerks my camera ahead of time is not aim assist being jank?
Edited in fourth example: If you swing at somebody that Dead Hards, your camera will trace them all the way through it.
I am very confident that the game has both aim assist (for lunges) and aim dressing.

yes bro I can "just down the guy with endurance". BT is fine but if you use it to bodyblock, you are asking to be chased instead. If you go into a locker for your DS immediately afterwards, that's just abusing the perk.

Ds wasn't the issue here, that perk is fine. Bt was the problematic one since it allowed her to bodyblock you and almost force your hand into chasing you, ds right now is fine.
Personally I just want survivors with bt to not have collision with the killer- if you're going to be tunneled they're going to wait it out regardless and if you're not going to be tunneled then it makes it much less abusable.

I don't know the validity of this, but regardless of how it came to be this way it should be based on hooks or kills, not the emblems.

We need to drop this “remove collision from BT” because that’s a terrible idea. There are cases to where I need to tunnel an unhooked survivor.

How does no collision for 12 seconds stop that? Also, it would have to be blanket no collision on unhooked survivors, it would be terrible if you could use collision to find out if BT was there.
