I like to play killer, I usually do pretty well, So I often pip.
As I pip, I rank Up, and Loathe the fact that I Do.
I do not want to rank up.
The que times are unnacceptable.
20 minuets to find 4 survivors, for the game to be over in 5-7 minuets is...not fun.
It makes me not want to play the game.
Playing killer is stressful enough as is at high rank, ( which it shouldnt be, a game should be fun, not stressful )
But when I have to wait exorbitant amounts of time just to find a game, and have that game be over very, very quickly, its just annoying.
Because then I have to wait, a g a i n.
There are usually around 20000 people on the game , every time I have checked steam charts it hovers around that number.
It cannot be so difficult to pluck out 4 of them and put them In a lobby.
I want to play legion, Ive been having fun playing them, but waiting so much time to actually get into a game and play is worse than Legion is themselves.
And Legion is pretty bad.
Seriously, Fix your que times, let people play.

Killers rank up faster than survivors anyway, especially solo survivors. If it was easier for survivors to earn double pips I'm sure rank 1 wouldn'r be as bad.0

I think to a lenght swf also has an impact.
If you are a rank 1 survivor and want to a play the game with friends, but they are lower rank or you interduced them new to the game, you aren't playing vs rank 1 killers but against the average rank of your overall rank.
Right now there is unfortunately no solution to this issue, because with only 20k players you just don't want to split the player base further with multiple queues (ranked and normal) and disbanding swf also makes less sense. We as a community do want to reach more and more players to grow and have a good time to play with and against.
At the moment you only can derank to midtier, so you can experience the game as designed, with acceptable queuetimes and interesting games.
Best way to derank is with the doctor, just walk around hook everyone with BBQ once and just let them win. Try to take as much point possible but don't kill anyone. Enjoy your BP and depip.0 -
This is something the devs are aware of and fixing. Allegedly we will be getting a new bucket system later this month which should help with wait times. And as someone who plays both sides, survivors wait 10x as long as Killers do. So don't feel bad.0
