Servers crashed?
Did the servers crash? Was playing as killer took me about 20 frigging bloodwebs to get the ultra rare huntress hatchet get one down and BAM 8012 Error and cannot connect to DBD servers but my connection is solid cause im on here posting...

Last time servers were down people didn't crash they just couldn't get into a game

yeah...I just got picked up by a plague after failing a head on attempt lol prolly thought i rage quit.

Yep, i've had 4 or 5 of these server errors just in the past month where the problem is on their end or on steam's end...that's pretty much a whole rank at this point.

Steam server reset every Tuesday at this time. If I am playing I log off about 10 minutes before.

I got dced too while in a round and now I'm getting the same error. They probably screwed up with the servers or something.

It's most likely Tuesdays regular Steam Maintenance.

It's not a server crash. It is the normal Steam server maintenance that happens every Tuesday at this time. If your on Steam it's a good idea to log off before the reset that happens every Tuesday at 7pm Eastern time.

Steam should be notifying like games do before this happens. Otherwise it looks like we are dcing from matches. I was just nearly at hatch and entire match just dcd we were all in chat going WTH

Not sure why they would need to notify. It happens every week at approximately the same time.
I did forget this time but that is my fault. And alas the 5 minute dc ban was done by the time the server came back up.
