I hate DBD right now.
I was trying to complete The Machinist for on Tome VIII, and was having some trouble getting Gens done. Anytime I'd actually get to doing Gens, the killer would find me and hook. Once I was off the hook, there would be 2 Generators left, making the challenge void since you have to do it in a single trial. I switched to a new challenge, figuring I could just upgrade my character to get good gen-rushing perks.
The next match I got into, I managed to finish repairing 3 Gens. I hate my life rn.

Play as Claudette and wear her dark clothes. Run Spine Chill and bring in a tool box. Put an offering in for Yamaoka map. Work on gens, when Spine Chill lights up, sneak off into the bushes. Rinse and repeat.

Always happens to me, too. :D Go for a grab challenge and canβt get a single grab, swap it for something else and grab like 3 survivors in the same match.

As long as he isn't running Iron Maiden, he isn't difficult to hide from. He is also very rare to face these days.
@OP, I just got the challenge in my first try. It was against a Ghostface on a corn map. We had one good random looper and two other people were on the same challenge, so they knew to do gens together. Just be sneaky as much as possible.

I ran it once for like a month just to counter the doctor. Didn't see him once so I took it off and the very next match was against the Doc π

Too funny. Much like running Unbreakable for a while, no slugging happens, then he first match ya took it off bam everyone is slugged...
