How do we signal others to show we have perks?
I have a Power Struggle build:
- Flip Flop
- Boil Over
- Power Struggle
- Smash Hit
I was slugged and managed to crawl near a pallet. I was not close enough to the pallet to warrant the killer checking for nearby survivors before picking me up. There was a hook directly on the other side of the pallet. I was very likely (especially with Boil Over) to be carried across the pallet. I was 95% recovered. The exit gates were powered. I was primed to make an escape once the killer picked me up.
Another survivor stops opening the exit gate, runs over to me, the killer sees their scratch marks, begins to chase, they loop my pallet, the survivor drops it, and helps me up while the killer was breaking it. I went down soon after and then immediately put on a hook. 😠
Can Power Struggle be buffed to lockdown nearby pallets? (The Entity lock shouldn't be visible or audible to the killer. "But it would be trolling the survivor who came to rescue you and who now needs that pallet..." Well, they shouldn't be looping a slugged survivor to begin with; take the killer away or trade places with the dying survivor.)
Can relevant perks be shown to other survivors while in the dying state?
- Unbreakable
- Adrenaline
- Soul Guard
- Flip Flop
- Power Struggle
- Tenacity (optional, as survivors can already discern the faster crawl speed)
In the meantime, is there some way to signal others that I have suck perks? Spinning on the ground is harder to do, and even back when it was easier, it meant "come pick me up," or "don't come pick me up," so who knows... 🤷♂️

sadly there isnt a universal signal that was established.
kinda wished a quick chat feature was made.

I really wish survivors could see other's builds in lobby. This would save a lot of headaches.
As foe your suggestion though- power struggle could be buffed to highlight pallets yellow in a 10m radius where you go down. Hell I would run it just for that!

If you're on PC, use the pre-game chat. If you're on console, you're screwed.

Hope in game chat never happens.

This gave me an idea...

not in game chat specifically, more of quick chat options. kinda like what LoL and Smite have.

Don't want that either, imo. Spam and griefing I suppose.

I also wish Any mean shows aura of dropped pallets in 32m or something. So I dont have to pair with WoW

The number of perks you have to pair just to get the value of one perk is insane.
Hopefully one day bhvr will look over all the perks and clean them up a bit.
This could make for a good forum post discussion ^^

youd rather the system we have now, no communication what so ever for solo q because people could spam? if its that much of a problem, we can have a timer between quick chats for individuals.

Yes. I can't trust new communication tools from a game developer that has such excessive censorship already for a game that doesn't feature in game chat.
This is in spite of your suggestion, which is not text chat. Sorry.

The only thing stopping them from displaying survivors' perks for other survivors to see in the lobby screen is the fact that No Mither exists, is a terrible perk, and will cause lobby-dodging from other survivors...

I imagine they'll never show perks in lobby because some players would use it to dodge lobbies. Oh, you're running a perk/build I don't like? Dodge. Queue times would rise for sure.

The only thing you really can do is tell others in the lobby before the match what you are running.
If they decide to intentionally sabotage your plans based off of that info you tell them like by dropping a pallet you're waiting on/near with your flip flop build then I'm pretty sure that's reportable.
I've seen people do stuff like that before, heck people intentionally sandbag their teammates to grief them anything is possible so yeah, be careful with telling people what build you're running.
I mostly use the lobby chat to tell people I'm bringing We'll Make It/BT and or Kindred if they want to run other perks so we don't over lap as, every little thing matters in solo queue lol
