Lag Spikes and Game Freezes
Is it worse for anyone else tonight?

Do you play on console? For me, the hotfix has introduced 2-3 second long freezes when things like unhooks, loud noise notifications and Dead Hard happen. It's like Resident Evil all over again, but less frequent with the exchange of longer freezes.

Yes, the past couple of weeks about half my matches the game will lag when unhooking etc.
My last game was on RPD against Ghostface, every time someone was unhooked or whatever they were doing caused the game to freeze for a second. This really messes with my flow and was downed attempting to flee down the stairs next to chiefs office because it lagged as I turned to go down the second set of steps allowing GF to down me just as my team were opening the exit gates.

It's clearly a problem, but it's a very odd issue:
I was having the same lags and fps blips people were having up until the most recent update. However, since 5.1.1 dropped I've not had any problems and the issue is far, far less (I've counted one minor fps blip on Haddonfield after the final gen went).
Yet it's still clearly happening to others, so I'm at a loss as to why this is a thing, unless where I'm located is close to where one of their servers are based. I have an Xbox One 500Gb, so it ought to be having issues, according to the HDD problems they were facing.

I haven't had any problems on my ps4 untell today. They have been happening quite often as well

Any time I injure someone with Trickster's blades the game freezes for 3 seconds and then suddenly everyone is gone.

Probably a couple of years now, I'd say.
The only couple of things which may have remotely helped this was that I only store games on there I'm actually going to be playing at that time, and uninstall the rest. The other is a decache it weekly - as in disconnect it from every cable. Maybe that was enough to help it with the most recent update, because even when I was having these lag and frame issues it wasn't great, but never seemed as game-destroying as others said.
