Remove "Skillbased Matchmaking" and rework add on's and items
Legit every game so far i either play against children with no hands or i get my ass handed by 12000 total hours SWF that all have fully stacked toolboxes and do totems. It is so frustrating playing this game I actually want competent survivors not the greasiest sweatlords or people who have never played a video game before.
But honestly that's not all why even put SBMM in a game where the entire roster of killers isn't viable except for 2? before adding something like this maybe make sure at least half of the killers are actually good.
And even if we go by the delusional dev's and say every killer is fine, at least make add on's and items an even playingfield. As a killer its unfair if I bring my 2 best add on's while the survivors have a yellow med kit and a brown toolbox, and at the same time if i run 2 add on's that aren't that good and they have a map, a key and 2 toolboxes that is just as stupid. It should be changed how we get items and add on's from the bloodweb in first place if they were like perks it would be way healthier for the game and make it more fair so i don't get punished for not having enough bloodpoints/bad luck in the bloodweb to get my add on's, while survivors can tank all their BP into one character.

MMR is killer-specific, which will allow them to understand how to buff individual killers better. Furthermore, how would reworking items and add-ons help the current ranking system?

So you either stomp them or get stomped soo 0k or 4k....Right? That's a 2 kill average with is considered balanced. My experience has been games where I always get good BP which I can't say for Normal MM. Every game except my Trickster gm has been 1-4k. The ones that were 1k I am sure I made tons of mistakes to get that result. The 4k's were good games and what I mean by that is I did not slaughter them they were 1 gen remaining or even 5th gen done.
Can't help but think so many are reporting bad experiences because only 1 or 2 escaped or got 1-2 kills. Everyone always so quick to blame MMR instead of the mistakes they make in trial.

because the thing is DBD players dont want a better game, they look at the small picture and not what MMR can bring if successfully implemented, also it shows how many players might be boosted.

I mean we already know what killers are not worth using and who is completely busted.
Reworking items would make games more consistent for example : trapper is a pretty bad killer his base-kit is really weak until you start using add on's then he still is pretty overshadowed by everyone else but there is a MASSIVE power difference between trapper with add on's and without. Meaning you are bound to perform worse with trapper if you play with no add on's. but by giving him always access to his add on's would make it so he would be more consistent because you could always run the same add on's.

I agree. I have used multiple killers as well to get/give better feedback. My clown game I played last night was about the closest to a slaughter I have seen so far (except for that trickster gm I mentioned) and it's because I had a Dwight doing I don't even know what but was always up my ass unknowingly feeding my STBL. The Yui from that gm messaged me so pissed off at him...We friends now so double plus from that game I guess.

When i say stomp from my side (killer) I mean 1 or 2 gens done at most and 4K with basically no chase points because end them immediately. when i mean i get stomped its 0-2 hooks. and yes this would average out to be a 2K every game but at the same time i would be way less tilted if I actually get 1-3 kills every game, stomps are boring from both sides I want actual close games. I know i'm not the best killer and have a ton to learn but the matchmaking just doesn't put me with the right people. I would even argue the overall playbase for this game is too low for proper matchmaking.

How long you been playing? Are you using just one killer?

You literally say it yourself "if successfully implemented" you trust these dev's to successfully implement anything? i agree it would be good but they can't do anything right.

I've been playing since clown release but took a break when plague was released up until deathslinger then i came back and switched to PC and I play Blight, Doc, Pyramid Head and Oni (and sometimes legion)
