Targeted for being solo Q?
So I was just in a game against a demogorgon, and had a 3men swf in my team (it was obvious because of the name).
Killer tunneled me all game, and let the swf do gens meanwhile, and even gave them the escape.
When I asked the killer why he tunneled me, he said because solo q is easier to tunnel and that they wanted to win (yet he let the others go).
Not only this, but I had these 3 swf team mates insult me in end game chat along with the killer.
Has anyone else had this kind of experience? What is the point of targeting someone just because they're playing solo?

I did. I just find it odd how this isnt the first time something like this happens.

I'm console so luckily I can't see endgame chat. However, I can only think of one time something similar happened to me in solo queue. 99% sure it was a 2 man who got the Wraith on their side and so they snitched mine and David's locations and Wraith let them escape. Their names were also similar so that's why I said 99% positive.
Now the one time during the anniversary event when me and a Nancy got sold out to a Legion after we didn't want to farm, Nancy died on hook after farmed and I got moried after being farmed. They all nodded at each other and Legion let them escape. Pretty sure those were just random solo bozos though.

Like solo isnt a shitfest already... then all you see on these forums is killers complaining about survivors playing swf... i wonder why most people prefer swf....

This happened to me and bill when pig sided with 2 claudettes. I never been so angry in my life when that happened.

I would wonder if they were working with the killer, since they were joining in the dogpile.

I don’t think they were working together to kill me since they didn’t sandbag, but they did mob in the post game chat.

I mean I don't know how much of a fight Mr solo put up but I mean if he stalled long enough the killer mighta been entirely too far behind to catch up. Which I why I said I get why he would go for the solo at first he figured they might be less inclined to help him.

Im solo and have had survivors and killers team up on me. It sucks but it is whatever. It rarely happens and I rather just move on to next match.
If it makes you feel better then report.

Some people are just d-bags. I've had a few games where the Killer opts to work with 2 survivors against me and usually one other innocent soul.

Is there any single SWF group in this game that is not a team of trolls and pricks? Every time something like this happens - it's SWF. Every time survivors bully the killer - it's SWF. It's almost like SWF and enormous toxicity are synonyms.

My SWF group is usually too busy carrying the other two survivors to worry about trolling the killer. Even when we're not, we don't troll the killer, because we're not #########.

Honestly focus your effort on the solo is a good call. But letting the 3 man escaoe whitout trying to kill them is new to me and i played a lot of hour

When I'm killer, I don't mind the non toxic swf teams. They provide a learning point and I like that. It's the toxic ones that makes me want to dip lol but yeah solo is hard man, I feel that. It's so rare to have a whole solo squad in sync like really rare but those are always the best matches and with tight escapes paired on top?? Oof

I've been trolled (working with the Killer, sandbagging) by solos. It is definitely easier to be dicks in a group but I think ######### will be #########, doesn't matter if they play alone or with friends.

He didnt grief him. Yes he tunneled him but only because he WAS the easiest target. Thats not griefing.
@Marigoria I still feel sorry for you there and if i were i would have played in a other way i guess, but it could depend how the match went tho.

Thats hurt. There was a match with 3men swf. Killer still down me but didnt hook, only went for other 3. Later killer let me escape.
All match with swf, I most see Killers target swf before going for solo.

Queue Hello, Zepp.
It was a 4 man swf the entire time, but one of them queued killer. They dodged lobby after lobby just to find each other so they could play a game. For far too long have solo players thrown their games when not everyone was online, so now, they want the solo player to feel what it is like to have the world against them. To survive is simple, all you need to do is run the killer for 5 gens and hope they don't bodyblock the exit gates. Live or die, make your choice.

Sounds like the killer was friends with the 3 man. Unless you have video evidence, don't bother reporting, though (last time I tried to do that I waited about 3 months to get a response by which point my evidence was deleted, so I gave up)

To the aspect of the killer letting the other 3 leave, either no idea or the killer knew they were outmatched? Or didn't even try cause of obvious swf, worsened by similar names indicating tryhard swf?
Well to the point of after game toxicity the killer is already antagonist to survivor from the get go.
The other 3 survivor seem to show the typical problem of survivor vs killer toxicity in form of herd mentality. They are already an established group and can support/defend/cover each other in heated arguments. Couple this with the omipresent security of online anonymity and you get the recipe for potential unrestrained online toxicity at its finest.

I've actually had the opposite happen to me when I play Survivor. I've had quite a few games where the solo will team up with the Killer and throw because they got angry at us over something small. (Like us not healing them immediately when they ran over because we almost had a gen done, them getting caught by the Killer, etc.)
Idk, it's not often for Killers to team up with groups like that- so I wouldn't take it too bad.
