In your opinion, who's the strongest licensed killer so far?
And the best designed one, tho not the strongest?
For strength, in first position, it's definitely Pyramid Head. If you get tormented, you'll get tunneled and he can prevent hitting borrowed time survivors jumping in a locker. Then it's cage, go across the map, kill. The best tunneler in dbd imo.
I think he stays in second position as the best licensed killer for design, but the first goes to demogorgon maybe. I dunno, Demo, Nemesis and Pyramid, as amount of features they bring into the game, they are almost in the same position!
Second position in strength imo it's demogorgon, followed by Nemesis, Bubba/Freddy, Pig/Myers, and last Ghostface, since apart from exposing you and crouching and making the red stain disappear doesn't have a real chasing ability and his power is too much depending from recharge add ons

I like Pyramidhead a lot in terms of design. He looks good, his attack makes sense, and while he didn’t have the cages in the game, it’s a good fit for his character.
Bubba may be the strongest, for having a one-hit attack that can down multiple survivors at once.
2 -
Pyramid Head is strong with a very good design.
I don't know about his perks tho ^^" he's my favorite of them all.
5 -
I am.
5 -
Are you joking? Listen, I'm a bubba main and a Pyramid main, and I know for a fact that Pyramid is better in all ways, even if as Bubba you try to use all the camping potential possible.
1 -
Clown isn't a licensed killer, btw
0 -
#########, I really said Clown. I'm an idiot XD, checking the wiki my brain got confused
0 -
Really? I must face bad ones, then, because I rarely face ones that get 4ks but face Bubbas (yes, often very campy) that get them all the time.
1 -
Yes, really. With Bubba you're pretty much forced to use the double speed combo or the speed + chilli combo, otherwise the default ability won't make the catch up enough good. Even the faster charges recharge add on is good.

I don't think it's really arguable that PH is the strongest licensed killer, even if we're talking the reworked pre-nerf Freddy into account. Even putting the cages aside, PH can theoretically hit you at almost any loop in the game if he's skilled enough, and predicts the survivors' behaviour correctly. It's kind of like diet Nurse, but with genuine counterplay.
1 -
Does old Freddy count? If not then Myers is my favourite because he is faithful to his source material just like old Freddy was
3 -
But neither Rin or Kazan are licensed.
Anyway, Bubba's pretty strong-

Strongest is Pyramid Head in my opinion
Best designed one, i think is Michael Myers. He stalks and gets stronger like he does in the movies. His terror radius music is a very cleverly adapted version of the music track "The Shape Stalks" from the original movie. He is definitely one of the scariest killers. I think they did an amazing job with this character.
1 -
Pyramid Head imo
1 -
Strongest insofar as performance is Pyramid Head. Given the answers in this thread thus far, that seems to be a pretty solid entry.
As for design, it's a bit harder to say. Best designed may go to Myers or maybe Ghostface. Sure, GF doesn't always work as intended, but the concept behind it is very fitting for the character. Myers makes the system simply work better, though, and his kit allows him to adopt multiple playstyles which is something we don't see with many other licensed Killers.

I still believe Freddy is the strongest out of licensed killers, but PH is a close second. Design wise though, Demo is definitely the best. He's fun for both sides and well-balanced.
1 -
Best chase music: Toss up between Pyramid Head and Demo.
Best design: Pyramid Head
Best Killer in terms of win rate / strength: Freddy followed closely by Pyramid Head
Best Killer in terms of fun: Demo
Best Licensed Killer based on popularity of the Franchise: Toss up between Michael, Pyramid, and Bubba
Best underdog Killer: Pig
Best Killer to hate: Bubba
Best Killer to meme: Ghostface
1 -
Definitely Pyramid Head. I know a lot of people think Freddy is better but I feel as though he is slightly overrated. PH takes the cake on this one. Wish he had more cake though :(
2 -
Lore wise its Freddy and PH
0 -
Freddy is definitely stronger than Pyramid Head in my opinion. I love the idea behind Pyramid Head's design, but he is so telegraphed that it is difficult to get anything going against smart survivors that can largely just mitigate his powers.
I feel like Nemesis is slept on despite being the definitive jack of all trades killer with the most lit music.
1 -
There's no way Freddy is stronger. Unless you have the add on failed skill checks will wake you up, his anti loop is like old Clown but even worse, where survivors can leave even more easily the loop, and the teleport is not that essential.
0 -
I dominate with Freddy having no add-ons. Perk synergy is key obviously, but he maintains such massive map pressure that's unparalleled among Killers with his teleport and his anti-loop Dream Snares/Pallets. No one comes close to his power other than Nurse. The difference being that Nurse has a high skill ceiling and Freddy does not. PH doesn't even compare.

I caught up to a Sprint Bursting Ash with no speed addons once.
Caught him with the very tip of my saw, and he DC'd.
0 -
Pyramid Head, easily. You don't even need to tunnel and he's really good- countered by the W key though alongside all other licensed killers.
0 -
Disagree. Pyramid Head is great if you are a god at hitting his ranged attack and putting down torment trails that can't be easily avoided, but pound for pound i'd put Bubba and Nemesis ahead of him. Bubba forces bully squads to play defensively and wastes less time getting downs, while Nemesis turns every loop into an eventual loss for the survivor if they don't leave and go somewhere else due to zombies eventually showing up, especially if you use zombie speed and detection addons. Plus he can punish greedy pallet usage like nobody else. Bubba can likewise chew through pallets and shorten loops and chases massively.

Freddy is the strongest and most oppressive licensed killer atm. Followed by PH from his counter loop ability, followed by Pig for stall and counter loops, followed by Leatherface>Demogorgon>Ghostface>Myers>Nemesis. Nemesis being the bottom of the barrel since in order to get a 4k on him you need 12 hooks, and 32 hits to 4k assuming everyone heals back to full, instead of 12 hooks and 24 hits like every other killer on the roster. Literally the worst killer in the game for that alone, can't be stated enough.
0 -
That's now how Nemesis works in practice like at all. If you think it is, you aren't using him correctly. He is the best 'trap' Killer in the game and his map pressure is second to none. TRY doing a gen against a gen slowdown Nemesis who isn't braindead.
0 -
Bubba imo is the strongest licensed killer right now. Good add ons, solid antiloop and an amazing area control (aka proxy camping) potential. Pyramid is a close second but his weakness to survivors mainting distance and pre droping pallets makes him a bit less solid.
Best designed is Ghostface. He feels like an actual normal guy who likes killing and is happy about doing it. Currently he's the only true stealth killer that DBD has, Pig and Myers barely have stealth, and Wraith is all about mobility and chase potential than sneaky hits. His stalk is way better designed than Myers and feels true to a guy who follow his victims around before dealing the killing blow.
1 -
Pyramid head or demo imo
0 -
Gonna have to say Demo. They have mobility, a nice collection of add-ons, great anti-loop (people underestimate Shred), and amazing 3-gen pressure.
However I have PH as a close second, then it's Freddy, Bubba, Nemesis, Pig, Ghostface, and Myers.
0 -
In terms of sheer strength? PH.
In terms of design? Freddy on-release.
0 -
The strongest for me is freddy. Shut down loops with blood pools and fast teleportation.
Best design probably has to be nemesis. His ability is weird and uninspired but I find him unique.
0 -
Don't know why you sound so hostile when people disagree with you, because saying that Pyramid Head 'is the best' is an opinion and an opinion only, but I'd say that Freddy is the strongest for me personally.
Whereas design-wise, it's definitely Pyramid Head or Nemesis (despite Nemesis being pretty dull and repetitive).
1 -
I was going to add Demo on my list of good designs, but he's also really bland at the same time. I think you get what I mean. He has a unique kit, but he's extremely repetitive.
Then again, I have Nemesis there even after I literally said he's dull and repetitive... damn.
0 -
Eh, I think Demo is unique. Unlike the other mobile killers, you have to set up to use your mobility power. You can also use portals as a tracking utility which is cool. Shred is pretty cool IMO, since it allows you to run fast with limited control and slap a survivor with both hands. It's mostly similar to Slinger but in all fairness, they joined the roster before them. Honestly I get what you mean though.
The only thing unique about Nemesis is his zombies tbh.
1 -
I've played plenty of games against him....he's a joke. Like...I'd be more scared of a trapper in a game than nemesis. His AI is absolutely braindead, figuratively and literally. His zombies have walked straight past me plenty of times while I was doing a gen. I've also seen his zombies ignore me completely, and then walk straight into Nemesis path blocking his loop. And the stats I provided are literal fact. 32 hits, and 12 hooks maximum. While other killers only have to pull off 24 hits and 12 hooks. Thats trash.....literal trash. Especially with as many second chance perks you have available to make it take even longer for him to kill anybody. So unless he tunnels and camps me on hook...I'm going to survive him a lot longer than I normally would other killers. Thats just how it is. He gives me a free sprint burst on infection, to go on top of other exhaustion perks. And when he comes back around for an M1 you get another sprint burst. So 2 sprint bursts per chase.....Listen man...I wanted nemesis to be this amazing killer too....but the truth is....he's just not it man. I can regret spending my money all I want but it is what it is. I'm not gonna sit up here and inhale a full ass tank of copium to deal with it either. It is what it is.
0 -
Pyramidhead probably.
0 -
Bubba Sawyer "Leatherface" the Cannibal is the obvious answer.
0 -
Leatherface. He can just guarantee a kill off 1 down.
0 -
PH is probably the strongest followed up by Demo
0 -
thanks god !! no 1 mentioned myers ;(
got i hate him .. specially when he got 3-4k
0 -
A well played PH is an absolute pain to deal with. Can deny pallets, zone you out of loops, is 115% and has his cage power neglects a lot of strong gamechanging perks.
0 -
Obviously PH (the new one)

Pyramid Head is undoubtly the Nº1 after the Fredy changes but with 2 simple fixes Ghostface becomes so much better and could be a contender for that Nº1 spot. Those fixes being the reveal mehcanic being changed to his mask being the key of the system instead of his body, GF has to show his mask to stalk so either standing, crouching or leaning he always has to show a bit of the mask. This solves 2 issues, first he can't be revealed from someone in his back since they can't see the mask and 2 since it's the mask and he always has to at least show half of the mask when lean stalking this means Survivors have 50% of the mask to work with for reveals during lean stalks so no matter what it will always be possible to break the stalk and Nightshroud however it will be slower than seeing 100% of the mask but this fixes GF being able to use his power and fixes REvealing him from the Survivors stand point aswell, now they can always break him out because there's 1 simple thing you have to look for, his mask. And a change to the Undetectable status effect, that being Undetectable trully being as it is named, Undetectable. No Spinechill and no aura reading whileUndetectable, via Nightshroud, is active. He'd be able to use stealth much more and we could keep the Nightshroud cooldown the same as is since with those 2 changes he'd be in stealth alot more and he'd be able to aproach and avoid shift W meta better. A possible change we could have is keeping Nighshroud active if you managed to Stalk, Mark and Hit a Survivor before you are revealed. No more losing Nightshroud on hit. The intent with this change is to reward players who manage to trully be GF, stalk, get the down and leave and nobody knowing, that is DbD's GF Modus Operandi.
