Why do people hate the idea of Fnaf in the game?
I've been hearing alot of theories lately about the next chapter being Fnaf. My money is on Hellraiser mostly, but we won't know for sure until later. But alot of other people say stuff like they'll quit the game if its Fnaf and stuff like that.
I don't get that, Fnaf is a successful and well-known franchise, at some times i even found it intense. There's even a new game coming out. Why do people hate it alot, its not really different from any other Horror game besides from being on phones first. I mean, i've heard worse suggestions.
I'd love it if Fnaf was in the game, i mean, click this link and watch this amazing concept someone made. Dead By Daylight | Five Nights at Freddy's | Spotlight Concept - YouTube
Maybe the next chapter is Fnaf, maybe its Hellraiser. I don't know and i'm looking forward to finding out. I just think this hate for Fnaf is unnecessary.

This is pretty much why. I was neutral on the idea initially, maybe slightly against because of the audience of FNAF trending younger at the time it came out. But the sheer inundation of threads and posts and tweets just spamming and finding any and all hoops to jump through for their logic just turned me completely against the idea out of spite.

In my experience, it's baby's first jumpscare game. Each game is more or less the same with lore just tagged onto it.

Honestly, I love the FNAF series as a whole, but the recent teasers have shown how bad the obsession is. Personally, I don't care if it's Pinhead or Springtrap, it's new DLC, but its more annoying when the FNAF demanders are literally trying to put circles into a triangle basing everything on a single thing and basically trying to silence what others are saying because they must have their killer. I've literally had several discussions on Reddit about the latest teaser (TV with a rose) and someone verbally attacked me over it because of the date in the corner. I tried to be civil and just explain why it's more likely to be Pinhead, but my god, it was like dealing with a 4 year old throwing a tantrum. The conversation ended up descending into me being called racial and sexual slurs because they didn't want to listen to a perfectly civil discussion. This is pretty much the reason why people are against FNAF. Not the fact it's FNAF, but the behaviour of people wanting it.

You know when a little kid keeps asking same question over and over and you try to ignore them but they don't stop and it annoys you? That is what it's like with the FNAF posts. Instead of just keeping it to a single post and commenting on that people keep making their own posts. Now instead of just ignoring one post people need to scroll through a bunch about the same exact topic. It's annoying and actually makes people be against it when before they were indifferent. Just comment on one post instead of making your own that is basically just regurgitating what was already said in the other dozens of other FNAF posts.

Are you talking about me? This is the first time i've brought it up, and its not a 'I want Fnaf in the game', its a 'help me understand the hate, so please inform me'

He's talking about the entire fnaf fandom

I don't. I think devs aren't doing a bad job keeping the horror aspect in the game when they add new characters. So, even if I don't know much about fnaf I am not against it.
But what I noticed on these forums is that you guys are a little bit too obsessed with it. Nothing bad about being a fan of something but it is pretty much undeniable that fnaf is not coming next and you guys keep trying to deny it to the point of making countless threads.
And btw you don't need to feel victimised if some people don't want the fnaf in the game. It is their opinion. Not everyone has to like it.

Use the search feature, look for "FNAF" and restrict the date to 1 week of today (you can literally write "today", FYI). 85 pages of comments in the last week.
Now do the same for "Candyman", whose fans are also often accused of "spam" by FNAF fans who genuinely don't seem to understand how much FNAF spam there is. 21 pages of comments, or roughly 1/4 of the number of comments (some of which are FNAF fans comparing their own fandom to Candyman's, or complaining about Candyman's).
Do the same for NOED, but now change the date to one month. 66 pages, or roughly 3/4 the number of FNAF. In other words, in the past week alone, FNAF has been mentioned more often than NOED in the last month, and we all know how often NOED is complained about.
So why do people hate the idea of FNAF? Some genuinely don't like the franchise, others don't like the fandom, but nearly all are just burned out by the nonstop spam.

We're just tired of seeing 8 trillion threads on it and the behavior of some of its fanbase.

I think only people who use this forum might hate it lol

Me when I see a thread saying: "Why Springtrap should be on dbd" for the fifth time that day
Look...it's not that we hate fnaf...just PLEASE stop flooding the forums and twitter about it😭

Because people have different opinions on different things.

Because he is too " camp " to fit in with the rest of the vibe and ambience I think Dead by Daylight goes for.
Most people's ideas for the killer and his tactics are dumb or not possible.
People don't want camped and tunneled by an animatronc in a pizzaria.
It invites a younger audience to our already immature AF community.
The killer will become the new meme people like to not actually play the game on to troll and irk people.
Etc.

FNAF fans are annoying. I hope BHVR won't make more teasers like this one, because if they do we'll have this shitstorm again.
I mean, I really wanted Pinhead in DbD, as well as many other people, but there was no stream of threads like "OH MY GOD IT'S PINHEAD UWU" before each chapter. FNAF community is horrible, and the further it is from DbD the more I am happy, since DbD is already horrible enough.
Also, I used to think that FNAF could fit in DbD, but after I watched the gameplay I don't think so. It is too cartonish, if you show those animatronics without screamers, they are as scary as dinobots.

I just don't find FNAF interesting at all. It's boring to me.

I don't really want SpringTrap for the same reason I would hate "Tree" to be the next survivor.
2 -
People hate on anything, remember when Trickster came out? That was nasty how half of the community had mental breakdown and tantrums about it on several days

Tree from Happy Death Day?? The first movie was good, the second kinda sucks but as much as I love the first movie, I don't think it should be added either. Babyface would legit just be like Legion with a mix of Myers / Ghostface or pig. Hard pass on HDD too.

I had the idea of a two-piece power, similar to a Pyramid Head and Pig fusion involving a Fright Meter. Springtrap places Phantoms on gens, lockers, chests, and pallets, and survivors that interact with them get scared, increasing their meter. If the meter hits a certain point, it moves to stage two, and Springtrap gains the ability to stuff survivors into springlock suits around the map, but only has four per match with a purple add-on that adds one more. Facing him would be about avoiding getting jumpscared and managing your Fright Meter, just the same as FNaF 3 is about avoiding the Phantoms and managing your debuffs. I don't know, thought the idea was neat.
