Funny Moments Of Karma
Had a game earlier where I item teched a survivor (tricked the to steal their item) and they weren't happy. They had a yellow flashlight and I was able to steal it from them.
They proceeded to follow me around for the next 3 minutes constantly vaulting and dropping pallets while I worked on gens. Killer then cam over and instead of going for me, the injured player, they went for the other survivor and camped them at the hook lol
They could've got their adept if they didn't act dumb like this. They also wasted their survivor pudding lol
So I'm asking to everyone else here, what's your funniest experience of karma in a match?

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Wait, so you stole from them and then he got camped? How is that karma? Sounds like you trolled them tbh
17 -
Karma would be if you were the one hunted for stealing…
15 -
Can you imagine? The killer picks up OP and the only one who's nearby and could help them is that other guy... oh, if only he had a flashlight
8 -
THAT would be hilarious.

While for me, i would laugh if someone item teched me, i CAN understand why someone would get mad.
But in the end of the day, what he did was worse, so i am happy with the outcome.

I get why everyone is saying karma would be if I got killed. Thing is it does work both ways. He was the one who was trying to throw the game to kill me and in turn would've probably got everyone else killed. In the end though the killer chose to chase him whenever they had the choice of me, who was injured and him, who was full health.
I would've been there to flashlight save him if he didn't try to get me killed. Thing is I actually looted a green flashlight near the exit after the last gen was done so if he was still alive I would've brought him back to it.
Put it this way, if you fall for it then it's your fault for not paying attention.

I hate it when the killers have Franklin's and when I go back to get my item someone has taken it. It's worse doing what you did, that's in no way karma, that's just you being a toxic idiot to your 'team mates'
7 -
"I would've given him his item back after the match, when it no longer matters, trust me, I'm the victim here!"
13 -
No actually, if you hadn't of done it in the first place then they wouldn't of tried to throw the game to get back at you.
You should of been the one to get face camped honestly.
12 -
God I'm not victim lol I would've gave it back because I found another one. If I did get hooked the Adam would've t-bagged my hook which would've been fair and funny lol would've fully deserved it but I wouldn't have cared.
If I hadn't done it in the first place is a bit of a weak argument. The man was fully prepared to kill a full team to try and kill me, just because he got outplayed. In the time he was doing nothing I did 1 gen and started following the death hook survivor for a flashlight save. Would've done more if she didn't keep coming back to the gen with ruin.

"Sure, I took his money, but I would've given it back because I found some on the ground! Wait, why are you still arresting me?"

You didn't act like a teammate, though. You acted like someone trying to screw him. That automatically makes you not part of the team.
EDIT: The fact that you think he was "outplayed" is just the perfect example of the problem. You are on the same team. You're not supposed to "outplay" your own teammates. You stopped being a part of the team the moment you decided to "outplay" another survivor.

"Outplayed", lol
I guess you don't mind about that Claudette with a key stealthing for the entire game to get the hatch. You just get outplayed.

Don't think we can really compare real life scenarios and dbd lol If I got tackled hard in football it doesn't make it right if i got sent off for trying to get revenge on him.
The second part I couldn't disagree more with. If I went to hide in the corner to keep the flashlight I'd agree but I still actively participated in the game, trying to complete the objective. I was injured but I didn't care because I needed to help my teammates who were struggling in chase with her.

Not gonna lie, if I were that guy I would have reported you for trolling. I think the whole situation could have been avoided if you didn't try to steal from you teammate
10 -
Not really a weak argument. You're trying to justify what you done and flip it on the other person, that's a weak argument to me.
You shouldn't of done it, plain and simple. Shows you're just one of those troll teammates that not many people like.

You're the reason that solo q is painful.

This thread is a perfect example of Karma.

What the hell is item tech and why are you stealing from teammates?
0 -
Someone else searches a chest and you swipe it before they can pick it up. It's pretty funny so long as you actually return it, otherwise it's just obnoxious
3 -
Oh I never knew you can do that. Gonna be careful from now on haha

Someone is injured with item, they go up to teammate with item to be healed. Before healing starts the injured teammate drops their item next to them, if other teammate isn't paying attention when they go to heal they'll pick up the dropped item instead of healing, injured teammate then grabs the teammates item that was accidently switched out.
It's a scummy thing to do to your teammate.
6 -
I feel like you were kinda in the wrong here, item tech is pretty BM.
7 -
Item tech-ing is also:
If you are injured, and a survivor coming to heal you and you both have an item, you can drop your item right before they begin to heal you. This forces the other surv to switch their item with yours on the ground, since that apparently has priority over healing. Then you can pick up the item to other survivor dropped.

"I would've given it back because I found another one."
My dude... communication is key. Even if you actually wanted to do it, which I doubt, the other person has NO WAY of knowing that. You have to understand the other side if you are gonna be an asshat like that. From his perspective, the only thing you are is an #########, simple as that.
"Just because he got outplayed."
Just... no... The man wanted to heal you. You are abusing his altruism and mechanics of the game.
8 -
That's not karma. You're the one who deserved to be face camped for stealing a team mate's item.
6 -
This post is just another example of the community's lack of self-awareness.
In this case you wronged your teammate by using an exploit to steal their item when they were trying to help you then laughed at them when something bad happened to them thinking its karmic when you were the one in desperate need of the karma for what you did.
Any amount of self-awareness would have let you figure out that they were pissed at you for a good reason.
Sorry if this sounds like a personal attack but its just the perfect example of a massive issue with the community itself.

They patched this a month or so (not sure exactly) but you can't steal from someone's chest anymore. At least not from behind it

Not gonna give my opinion as many people have voiced the same thing.
But on topic (kinda) had a match earlier with a legion who started to snowball us. Down to the final 2 (me and a random) Legion instead memes with me and we get to finish the gens. I open an exit gate and decide imma die anyways cuz she showed me mercy. So I run to the hill (hatch just so happens to be there) I search a chest and leave a medkit o as another thank you gift. Random instead wants hatch (mind you I've been here for about 40 seconds) and keeps pointing at me to leave. Legion who has been chilling with me gives her the no nos and slugs her and takes her to the door. Claudette throwing a hissy fit waits until the last second to leave.
So tldr- memeing killer shows mercy, I decide to let egc take me as thank you, angry Claudette tries to kill me out of spite, but that's what I wanted. Came to my stream to lurk and see if I was raging

Ah ok I guess it was the other method a few people mentioned. I don't keep up to date with these things, I prefer to troll my teammates in the traditional way - being completely ######### useless

I troll my teammates but they're my Franz. Wouldn't do this to a random
