My personal MMR experience as a 3.1K hours rank 1 killer main so far

So to start with the good, I've not really faced potatoes survivors that much at all, in fact I had quite good survivors who really knew what they were doing and were working on gens and looping properly, so for that matter, I was getting survivors who were worth being matched with me, end of the good.

The bad part about this is, it's most swf, which means most killers which lacks downing survivors fast struggle a LOT, I love Trickster, I main him and always get 4K with him, with the mmr, I can't, I am lucky to get 2 kills, I love Myers, 1 kill is barely what I can get, lower end killers will have it absolutely rough at high mmr, those killers will pretty much be forgotten in high mmr since they will be totally no match against those swf survivors, most killers will be left to die, I want to have fun and play other killers, not lose every matches because these killers aren't good enough against really good survivors.

The really bad, I sweat now, I have to sweat in my matches, which I would only do once in every 5 matches before, I could get decent games and some were easy and 1 in a few would be hard, but now it's pretty much every game, having totems? forget about it, they are always gone in the first minute, use undying? ok add 20 seconds, can only use haunted ground for some totems value, if you don't use slow downs perks, you lose fast, if you don't have a killer which can stop/hit them at loops, you will lose, you CAN'T mind game with them, at all, no matter what you do, every type of mind game is totally uneffective at all like if they all have wall hacks and see your every move, were is the fun in this? why would I have to follow in a line every survivors I chase since trying to mind game will actually give them more distance and cost me my bloodlust which will simply make them drop the pallet, there's no fun in that, I hate it, I can't mind game and I can't trick survivors anymore, I am not enjoying myself at all, yes not having it easy every time is nice, it's nice to have survivors who won't ######### up at every loop, but being unable to do anything at all since they read your every move even when you do everything right to do a mind game and so you simply waste time and you have to run in line if you are a 115 killer, BORING ANNOYING UNBALANCED.

Really high MMR will kill the experience for veterans/high end killers, which like everybody said, will have to use nurse or spirit to keep winning, which I totally don't want to, I love spirit but I don't only want to play her, I don't only want to playt he S tiers because they are the only ones able to deal with high end mmr survivors, nobody wants that, even the survivors, the MMR needs to be made in a specific way so it's a balanced match and make it a 1 vs 4 and not a 4(16) vs 1(4), no fun in that.

Thanks for reading

I overall like SBMM, but I used to be main Wraith and he is just close to unplayable against some groups. They will not allow you mind game for hit over pallet, you will not be able to destroy pallets while cloaked (they just keep vaulting it) etc.

It is rather nice to play other killers than mains, but that's it.

They need to come up with better reward system, if they ever want it full time.

250k as reward for rank 1 is pathetic and lazy. So far only reward you get is harder games. If they don't manage to motivate players to improve, there will be lot of players losing on purpose or just stop playing.

To get from rank 20 to rank 1 in month time is lot of time with knowing that it will be wasted on next reset back to rank 20. Sorry, but 250k is not worth it, not even close.

It's not like those games will be easy, because of SBMM you will have to tryhard a lot to get there.

I would change duration from one month to same as Rift (70 days), so there is more time to climb and more time to prepare better reward. Charms, Skins or just something you can show off.

Same issues here, although I have 1500hrs. I tried to play without slow downs and I only faced strong teams with the best perks in the game, almost everyone had deadhard of course. I hope the hours ingame doesn't affect MMR because if it is then I am stuck playing only against tryhards survivors...

dead hard is for awfully bad survivors, and apparently high mmr survivors can't live without it, how can so bad survivors be this high?

facing better players is the reward for being good at killer. MMR is individual killer based. so if your facing really strong players as wraith. it means that your one of the best wraith so you should feel honored. your mmr will go down on wraith if you keep losing with wraith so he'll go back to playable eventually.

ranking up is not much of reward regardless of bloodpoints, it can be rewarding first time, but after 20th time, it gets old.

to OP post, not a lot of stuff does work at high-level of DBD. many of mindgames that allow you to get hits as killer are not as effective as they are at lower levels of play. Its because survivor are far more aware of them and have devised strategies to avoid them and mitigate their effectiveness. The same can be said for perks. Hex perks are not nearly as effective when you have 4 survivors that memorized totem locations and know the map inside out. its a bit sad that what should be killer strongest perk are in survivor's control.

It would be true, if we could see what are our ratings. I would really like it, because I could compare my killers or with other players.

It is true that your games will only get harder, but it is only based on feeling, you don't have any other proper feedback.

If they show me my ratings, then I would be happy. Well, rewards would still suck, but I would be able to set up clear goals what to do next, like get ratings on all killers above some number.

And unfortunately, every time I see a dead hard, I'm about to down the survivor but they use it and make it to the next pallet and it extends the chase to 30+ sec minimum.

The dev's don't care what the killer experience is. As long as the survivor mains of the world are happy, they will do whatever they want to keep it that way. Don't hold your breath hoping the dev's will do anything to cater to Killer mains or just the killer experience at all.

They never will, survivor experience>killer experience.

First of all: When you play very good, you'll get very good opponents. There is no difference between killer and survivor.

Sometimes I have the feeling that mainly the high-rank-players hate the new SBMM. When you read in the forum, then you read only from the reds. Don't know what's the percentage of high-rank- and low-rank-players, but when there are much more low-ranks who are fine, I think the devs will bring the new system.

On the other hand where should the really good survs be matched? They join a game and have to be matched with a random killer. I think the game then looks for the killer who is in queue and whose score (nobody knows how it's calculated) is the nearest. Also I think most high-rank-killers and most high-rank-survs don't wanna chill. Else they wouldn't get in this ranks and they wouldn't learn how to mindgame etc. So it's on the side of the players that we have this situation now. They wanted to be better and better.

In other posts in this Forum you can read that killers are op and the devs think like killer experience>survivor experience. So this is no objective opinion or have you data where you can see how all the matches ended where you can proof that killers are so weak?
