Removing hawking's is upsetting
Seriously I loved having this map come in rotation. It wasnt a huge map and survivors with better skill did better on the map.
Was the only map that rewarded smarter players and had loops that was strong once the pallet was down.
Gonna miss this map as both roles, RIP.

This is my 2nd favourite indoor map as killer and survivor, first is lerys. Gutted it has to go especially since we are not getting new maps every chapter.

People who own the content can keep it. As nobody owns the map they cannot keep it

Said it in another thread, but the Lab could relatively easily be refurbished into a music studio, giving Trickster his own map.
Heck, catacombs could work to to give the twins their own map

The map is one of the few maps I actively tolerate and get to have fun in. It wouldn't be fair for anyone who likes the map to have it just go after the expiration date of the chapter.

It was one of my favorite Ghostface maps, that's sad. Hawkins and Midwich are actually the only indoor maps I think are good designed.
RIP Scratched Mirror Myers I guess. Hawkins is basically the only map where it's a bit viable.

Why? It's a terrible map. I honestly feel like losing Nancy, Steve, and Demo is worth it to never to see that place ever again.

What? Why? I love this map! We are only getting 2 maps this year and we are losing one? So the map number will only increase by 1?
If it was RCPD or Haddonfield I wouldn't mind so much.

I can not say goodbye to this map, I got my most recent followers here and also, it is the perfect map to play with GF and Jumpscare Myers, they can eliminate RCPD but Hawkins is not dead.

Now if they can just remove the RPD, Haddonfield, ormond map this could be a good start. After that if they cam remove the swamp and the red forest realm this will be ideal

if anything give it to blight, turn the alien stuff orange... i dont understand why they have to get rid of the map if they can keep steve nancy and demo...

Does this mean all licensed maps like haddonfield, midwich and RCPD could be removed at any moment permanently? I know most people hate those maps but still, we already barely have any maps to play on we can’t miss any.

It does set the precedent for that happening some unlucky day.
As for people hating these maps, that should never be a reason for removal, but a rework at best.

I like the layout of the map, i just hate the lighting of it to the point of ragequitting when i play it as nurse with all the light flickering when phasing through tiles, and they never fixed it so good riddance.

Okay no, we don't know for sure. But why would BHVR want to do this- unless the costs got too great (can't be cheap to have Halloween, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill) but I doubt they'd remove one of their biggest licences voluntarily without trying to get rid of smaller ones first (like Ash vs Evil Dead, for example)

bhvr knows there base is vocal, they wouldnt do something like this on there choice.. rip hawkins

Don't worry, they will just change the textures a bit so it is no longer officially Hawkins. Probably they will announce this later.

I can understand you're hopeful, but please don't go spreading this around as if it's true.
False hope is quite possibly the cruelest thing you can inflict on someone.

I am pretty sure this will happen, because it is easy for them to do. They just need a little time to do it and will announce it later. Probably they announce it when they also created a "copy fake Demo" and the two survivors.
These are just my opinions of course, but that's what this forum is for, right?
