Can we get a Dev response on a Hawkin's map replacement?

I like many others absolutely loved this map. It was a great indoor msp and has become integrated into the fabric of the game. Having whole maps dissappear in this game is not only tragic but damaging.

Whats next? Which dlc map will just be taken out. What killers will become extinct due to no new players owning them? Makes it hard to enjoy the game when huge chunks of content can just dissappear.

    They probably don't want to commit to yes or no just yet.

    Personally, I think just adjusting some room textures and making it a new original Lery's map would work.

    I don't think were even gonna get another hawkins, which makes me so incredibly sad. The aesthetics of that map are wonderful and i have so many good memories playing on it. They couldn't do another hawkins, the hawkins we have now is the only one of its kind. So sad to see it go.

    I can't wait for demo to become broken or bugged or over/underpowered somehow through the life of the game and the devs will be unable to make any changes to them because they're technically a retired killer

    They could change Hawkin's Laboratory into Talbot Grimes' Laboratory - Dyer Island. Instead of it having The Upside Down's influence, it's The Entity's influence. They're somewhat similar visually considering RPD's implementation.

    This is the same thing I was thinking.

    Lery's do not have a variation, changing textures and removing bodies, water tanks, and the upside down portal might be enough.

    I don't there will ever be a replacement.

    And, even if the devs create one, deep down it won't feel the same.

    If they knew, it'd most likely be in the FAQ.

    So i suspect the reason that we don't know is cause they don't know.

    It would be a shame to just delete it all.

    Not gonna lie really disliked this map thought it was ugly and had poor game design by a billion unsafe pallets possibly unsafest in the game upstairs. And neutered half the killer roster I had this map so much with Hillbilly and it broke me every time. This gives them a chance to add a new map from the originals who didn’t have one Trickster comes to mind. Or add to a one map realm like Lerys. Which honestly they should make sure there’s no one map realm.

    I'm thinking maybe they might bring the map back if the license ever gets renewed.
