We can only hope and pray that he will not be forgotten.
Or buffed out of Hell to be super OP for those who own him after the license is gone.

They could probably still balance it. If it's like Friday the 13th the game, they were not able to add new content, but they still did bug fixed and gave a major buff to Jason one patch.

be assured that devs will not invest any time in something they can not make money of LITERALLY NO MONEY. If demo gets any updates then only because some dev has a kind heart or a weak spot for demo.

I refuse to let Demo fade away.
I will not stand for such an injustice, even if it's because he is being discontinued.
If they do one last balance patch that makes him busted and OP, then I'll be kinda miffed, but at least he will be notable for those who go against him.

I barely ever face demogorgon. he is more like rare than hag and plague and hag & plague are really rare.
Hawkins will be missed as map though. that map was really good for jumpscare myers and It had good art design.

I've faced 2 demo's all year, he's already discontinued as far I'm concerned.
