I'm really missing it. The great/fun matches I had as killer/survivor significantly outweighed the few bad matches I had. I won some, I lost some - but I had fun. My first four survivor matches I had after the test were sweaty rank 1 nurses who slugged and nodded at us while we were on the hook.
I can't wait for SBMM to become permanent.

I'm gonna give it a shot soon, but my MMR matches weren't noticeably any different aside from an increase in camping.
I'm guessing it's gonna be the same, just with more tunneling instead of camping like before.

Just finished this match. It was the 9th red rank killer today, in order I faced:
- A rank 4 Spirit
- A rank 3 Ghostface
- A rank 2 Legion
- A rank 3 Legion
- A rank 3 Nemesis
- A rank 4 Nemesis
- A rank 4 Huntress
- A rank 4 Blight
- A rank 1 Clown

My rank dropped from 7 to 9 and honestly, I can't wait to go lower to the yellow ranks if it means avoiding these killers.
I can totally see why some red ranks prefer this system, of course, it's easy to never leave the top ranks when you keep winning against weaker players. The moment the tables turn and you are the one who has to sweat to have a chance and are at a disadvantage it stops being "fun" anymore.

Same as before to be honest. The SBMM didn't really affect me much but I've been wondering if literally everyone has the "unhook teammates" archive challenge because I've legit haven't been able to get any unhooks because everybody has been so thirsty for them and I don't know why. My build goes out the window. My build at this moment is speedy heals for the team to get back in the game quicker (I already completed the archive challenge) but everyone is just so thirsty for these unhooks. At least I'm pipping through chases and totems. That's something at least lol

I never noticed anything different with my matches...Trash survivors and trash killers. With the rare game of great killers and great survivors.

When the MMR was active I had pretty useless teammates for the most part who didn’t seem to realise those things that spawn on the map, I think they’re called generators? Can actually be repaired. Now that it’s been turned off my teammates are still virtually the same. I guess gen allergy season is among us?

I mean....unless he wants to play Spirit, Nurse, Blight, Oni, and Hillbilly every game....yeah...you don't really have a choice. The game is beyond imbalanced for survivor side. People never saw it before cause you'd always have to carry at least 1 weak link in the chain of survivors unless it was a 4 man premade <----In which case, 4 man premades are just as oppressive as 4 solo survivors who are all 100% aware and there are no weak links in the team at all.
If the game was balanced, Killer would want nothing but 4 man premades and 4 man high skill survivors. But its not. Perspective matters, and I don't think people play enough killer to actually get the perspective. They just whine about killer and its abilities until we all end up playing low skill cap killers every chapter and all of our perks have downsides....which makes it less of a perk and more of a dogshit double edged sword. And no, I don't care what any of your local content creators say about "muh survivor nerfs" muh flashlight slowly wobbles when I aim it. Muh windows still get closed when you use them too much but why is that still in the game when muh infinite loops are gone hurrrr duuuuuuuuuurrrr.

The ######### I've seen from some of these survivor complains and content creators posts is absolutely mental....
Survivors have gotten so bad at this game, and asked for so many nerfs, and softened killer powers that killers are starting to get bad at the game and complain about ######### that we've never had a problem with in years....like Dead Hard...what kind of wrecked future did I wake up in where killers complain about Dead Hard....

For me, it's not a thing of being Killer or Solo Q, or whatever. What I see is that many people don't want to go against people at their level, it's better to go against weaker rivals to secure/earn pips and stay at a certain rank. It makes total sense to me that in order to be at the top you have to face strong opposition, otherwise it's just stomping noobs (as someone said before).

With MMR I was still facing strong killers, just had better team mates to go along with it

Then learn how to run maps, use slowdown perks/anti chase perks. And I doubt all you go against is 4k/5k hour 4men swf teams.

Well I got my Steve and Nancy adepts in two games because I got matched with inexperienced killers so that was nice, if kinda boring.

Survivor Q has gotten pretty bad again to the point where I basically have to run my "I'm all alone" loadout. Small Game, Unbreakable, BT, DH. Basically, I have to cleanse everything, hope some gens get done, save where I can, look for the hatch and then maybe, maybe get a chance to open an exit gate.
Most of the time however it's just potatoes getting insta-downed after 2 seconds chase, waiting out the entire first hook stage before crouch walking across the map for a save with no BT, and then leading the killer to the hatch with 2 gens left. No idea what they are thinking but for some reason they always want the killer to know where the hatch is.
The killer is easier again. How easy you ask? Well, I got a 4k Devour Hope Mori with Trapper....so it's pretty easy (Only rank 8 TBF).

All of the anti gen perks are either hex perks or on a timer
and there's no good chase perk other than crowd control and it's a hex.
You got bamboozle for chase that's about it and then is only good at shutting good windows

I understand what you mean, and it's the exact same thing that's happening right now with the current system. I, as a purple rank (now green) survivor, get paired with red rank killers that have 3-4k hours. I'm not even close to 1k lol
The struggle is the same with any system because the game is not completely balanced, what changes in most cases is which portion of the player base it affects.
