Why hasn't the Nurse blink bug been fixed yet?
One of Nurse's most annoying and awful bugs is the blink bug where you can only blink once and then your second blink automatically triggers, but you cant use it, and you are forced to fatigue it goes on like that typically for the rest of the matchmaking your second blink unusable. The worst part about it is that it's super common, the longer the game goes on the better your chances of getting the blink bug are I believe because when I end matches fast I never get it, but for longer matches, depending on how much I played I see it quite a lot and it basically means you are playing with one blink the entire rest of the game. It's been like this for a long long time and I just wish they at least said they know about it and are working to fix it because there really shouldn't be such a game-breaking bug on a killer that's been in the game so long.

I doubt they will fix this bug, worst part is that it is more common now than before, for me before it was like once or twice per match, now if I can blink twice I assume it is a bug.
But considering nurse isn't well liked I doubt we will see a fix.

It'd be weird and biased not solving a bug because a Killer isn't liked much. My guess is that they have other priorities for solving bugs...

Yeah it might not be what I said before but if they wanted to fix nurse they most likely would've done it already, considering we had her rift recently and nothing got done.
We all had to suffer the blink bug also non blinkable(idk if that is a word) spots

Fixing bugs would make people play Nurse more and her entire base-kit gutting was meant to make her as unfun to play as as possible.
There is no real explanation for why they have left these bugs in for so long other then that they don't want Nurse to be played.

I admit it is very frustrating and it has existed in the game for a very long time. She's also extremely difficult to play so that doesn't help either haha.

Nurse had a bug where she could cancel her fatigue with a well timed swing... requires skill/practice to execute properly, but gave her a minor benefit.
BHVR fixed it within weeks of it being publicised

BHVR fixed it within weeks of it being publicised, despite it having been in the game for years
None of the other bugs benefit Nurse. They're pretty harmful... blink-bug and swing-cancel can cause the loss of a game if you're not able to get that down at a critical moment. But they benefit survivors, so no priority to fix. Killer's just have to deal with it because we mustn't upset the survivor base.

They have limited resources in the company. Someone has to make new cosmetics. Someone has to work on new 1v1 killers. Someone has to make new deals with new licenses. Someone has to design maze-like indoor maps. Someone has to do streams and tweets. No employees left to fix bugs, those can wait.

I think that's a bug that's 'here to stay', one that will never get fixed. That, along with so many other things like the lag back when you unhook yourself, Blight being in his rush animation when he's not rushing (that bug has been in the game for a while and it's hilarious), survivors being silent even without iron will, etc.
Dbd is always growing and always adding content so they never have time to go back and fix bugs. That, and the way the game is coded. When dbd was first created, it was an indie game that intended on only having the first 4 survivors and the trapper, so cheap coding was used because they couldn't afford to pay for good coders and also because they didn't expect the game to get this big.
The current set up is like 'spaghetti coding', where when they fix one bug it leads to another because of the way it's all linked. Bugs will always exist in the game unless they recode it but there's no time to do that because the game is always growing and getting new content, and there will be some permanent bugs, such as the nurse blink bug.
Scott Jund made a video, I can't remember the title but it explains why there will always be bugs in dbd.

Nurse is a buggy broken mess because the devs are scared to touch her due to how strong she is.

The bug happens if you deactivate v-sync

Yet they make excuses for the devs leaving her broken on purpose. They always fix bugs benefiting KILLERS ASAP

Wish they'd fix that one, the bug where you can't attack after a blink, and clean up character model boxes regarding how blinks interact with them. Survivor models extend the tiles by so much, making it almost impossible to be efficient and accurate at rock tiles and such. Where one blink straight through should suffice, you have to take two wider blinks because the survivor model "blocks" the blink.

Lol good luck with that. I also find it hilarious that they fixed the one with Blight where you get stunned and can use your power then I watched on stream yesterday Aryun (I think) get stunned as Pin and couldn't use his powers. Good stuff.

It hasn’t been fixed because it’s a Nurse bug

It's just like with Billy. His animations have been bugged for a very long time now on top of other stuff like the chainsaw collision being very off at times, and they still haven't fixed anything even thought they know about these things.
Devs are definitely VERY biased toward certain killers.
