More LGBTQ Charms?
I think a trans les bi flag charms would be great. Im not saying we need them as the current charms are alright, but hopefully we get these. Maybe a straight pride one too, but thatsnot needed imo (straight ppl arent really opressed so they dont need representation as much)

I don't know why you've got such an issue with it, it was just a suggestion.

The pride charm already covers those so it's pretty unnecessary, and it was bad enough some people got targeted for using pride charms. It would be even worse if someone got targeted for, say, a trans charm.

It would help with more representation. Id help for ppl like me that are LGBT, but not gay.

I've been really hopefull that they add more lgbt flags. I wanted to have hooks with only lgbt charms for a while now. I doubt they'd add a straight pride flag lol

More LGBT pride flags would be nice. Don't add a straight pride flag though, it's unnecessary and ruins the whole point of LGBT pride.

Oh I hope so, but please don't forget the MLM flag when doing so because it usually is. Ace, Trans, MLM, WLW, Bi, Pan, and more that I can't think of off the top of my head. They can keep adding in more later as well.
I'm all for it.

I was happy for a pride chain, untill every survivor in the first 2 weeks was accusing me of homophobia because I killed them.
Me having the charm on the hook matters not, only the fact that they had a rainbow on their waist mattered.
I honestly believe they shouldn't have done pride charms in the first place, simply because of how vile some people are.

Yeah but i didnt wnna get yelled at by homophobes because im apparently straightphobic. But yeah a straight pride flag is pointless lmao no offense

I think a problem that comes in is lesser known identities not being represented or identities with disputes over flags. I'd prefer a customizable charm.

Same.

They will not allow customization of charms into arbitrary flags for most obvious reasons.

Not saying those kind of people don’t exist. But saying every survivor was doing it just makes it seem very unbelievable. also false-flagging, the people that accused you (or others) for homophobia probably were actual homophobes trying to give bhvr a reason to delete the charm.

BUGS?

Ok, not every survivor, I meant every SWF.
That doesn't mean that my statement is false. People were deeming immunity because they wore the pride charm.

I'd like more flags. We probably won't get them until next June, though, if it at all.

I always thought their pride Twitch emotes (the crows representing the flags) wouldve made excellent charms.
Adorable, Stylish, and gets the message across.

You know the rainbow " PRIDE " flag represents everyone under the LGBTQ+ right...? It's an umbrella.

Learn to read. I was saying more flags for more representation, nd the flag ingame rn looks like a gay flag tbh

That's the PRIDE flag it covers ALL of us. It's an umbrella. You learn to read.
Gay men's pride flag is down below. It looks nothing like that. Lesbian pride flag is orange pink and white.

Ok but just morr flags for more rep

We're ALL represented in the Pride flag. There is a color for everyone's flag. That's all the representation we need.
I personally don't like EVERYONE having their own flag tbh. I think it's overkill and kinda separates us as a community. ( Focusing on how we're different vs how we're the same. )

what are those reasons? i'd imagine there'd be some system in place to keep that from being abused.

This is a game not a political scene. such "represantations" are not needed.
and what the hell this suppose to mean: o (straight ppl arent really opressed so they dont need representation as much)
xD

the lgbt flag is not the gay flag, it covers everyone

while I don't mind the straight pride flag and support anybody who uses it , some people take offense to it so I don't know if that's a good idea, in my opinion

how is putting more pride flags into the game something political?
1 -
it is technically political , but the dude who posted the comment needs a life check

it's not. Representation is most definitely not a political thing. We have a huge LGBTIA+ community, who particularly love the representations in our game. And it's something we care about and when we have further representation implemented it will be done correctly, it's already been announced we're working wiht GaymerX with regards to this.
2 -
fair enough, considering bhvr isn't keeping it exclusive to june or putting any of it behind a paywall i'll try to keep my cynicism aside.
1 -
It's highly political and exudes exclusivity. While I'm sure it made some people happy, it is also notably divisive. It's even described in some replies on this thread that people were targeted for wearing the charm, furthering the political devices involved. At the same time, some people would prefer not be be put on a hook bearing political charms like the pride flag as it can be simply perceived as conviction rather than celebration.
The charm is 100% politics rooted in beliefs. That's kinda what flags are for. Nations, ethics, beliefs, religion. All politics. Bringing any level of politics into this game has soured it.
1 -
Because games are meant to be fun and not bringing such serious topics like lgbt rights or any other.
As they stated above people using such charms are usually targeted first and tlfurther focused above all else.
It should be obvious tho. And if you do this with one group than the others will demand their own aswel.

I'm closing this here because Mandy already gave an answer: further representation will be added eventually, this is not changing.
It saddens me that people still call anything related to LGBTQIA2S+ political, it's not political, there's nothing political about people expressing their identity and asking for representation.
