The only perk I need now as killer
A perk that makes blocked gens regress.
With all these perks that block gens I'd honestly love this to be a perk. Even if its 1.5 regression or something I'd love it, also gets the entity involved abit lol

I think Ruin exists for that, haha... although it's a Hex perk and can be countered, thankfully. 😛

gen blocking perks work best as means of pausing the game for both sides. if you're having trouble with gen speeds try running Ruin or Dying Light

I'm not having issues with gens, it's just to make a huge amount of synergy possible with these perks.
I do run ruin, would rather the perk I suggested

Yeah but ruin regresses all gens at x2. This would be less of a regression and only on blocked gens. So weaker in every way (especially since most gen blocking perks you need to force them off) but it cant be removed.
Weaker, but more reliable and would make perks like tremors, dead mans switch etc. Actually useful and playable.
This one perk would and could shift the meta

It would cause a real risk of power creep. I don't see bhvr ever introducing something like that unless it's accompanied by a burden of conditions and failsafes.

Not much different to ruin, like I explained above in a comment it's weaker than ruin, requires at least 1 other perk to be usable even to begin with and wouldn't even need to regress as fast.
So all in all is weaker than ruin. But allows perks like dead man's switch etc. To become far more interesting and deadly. (Obviously regression wouldn't affect when survivors block gens)

As fun as it would seem to be to block and regress Gens, we have a multitude of Gen specific Perks for various situations already, that are pretty potent. Can always have em blocked, then patrol said Gens and run Survivors off if they're waiting to get back on Gens and have Ruin to start regressing afterwards.
Personally I'm such a fan of running Surge and Pop Goes the Weasel on several Killers for dealing with Gens

Dying light is a good perk you just have to put in a little effort to get the ball rolling. also adding a regression perk for gens would end up being too opressive or underwhelming at the end of the day

It's to combo with blocking gen perks though, things like dead man's is never used at higher level because it doesn't do enough
Its really not, especially at the higher level of play. By the time its impacting the game I'm either going to win or lose anyway.
Whats the difference between regressing blocked gens needing multiple perks for and slower than ruin or just ruin, undying etc. There isnt... it's just weaker but more reliable

Ah that's too bad, I've been using Thrilling Tremors + Ruin and thought it was actually regressing during that time! Sad
