Simple but game changing idea: allow the killer to drop pallets
Allow the killer to drop pallets. This would shake up quite a bit the chases and the overall strategy.
Not sure if good or bad idea, let me know what you think.

Bad. It would work only, if killer wasn't able to destroy those pallets. Problem is there would be no reason to do it then...

Drop and break a pallet to remove a strong loop.
Eliminate all the pallets and survivors have nowhere safe to run to.
Win.

Less than if he waits for survivor to do it.
Instead of letting survivor to do 2-3 loops before dropping it, you just drop it and destroy it for him. Result is same, but you wasted way less time.
I would also start everygame by destroying god pallets.

You need to walk to those godpallets, survivors can do gens in the meantime.
And yes, I know that this idea needs more polishing. But instead of just saying "no", try to come up with creative ideas how could this be made possible and viable. With negative attitude it is going to be hard to come up with new ideas and mechanics.

I didn't say just no. I said it is bad idea and said way how to balance it.
I don't know about you, but on Saloon I always start by destroying walls in main and shack. It doesn't waste that much time and it helps you win chase in future and this would be exactly same, but stronger.

I think breakable walls is alternative of killer dropping pallets. they're basicalle predropped pallets

They are similar, but survivors can't go through breakable walls.

You can just as easily drop and break them when you encounter them.
Typically a survivor will loop a pallet for a while before they drop it, usually only dropping it when you're within stun range. You can waste 20-30 seconds simply looping the pallet waiting for them to drop it.
This way, you chase a survivor straight to a pallet, they run through it without dropping it, which means they intend to loop it a few times until they can stun you with it. So you drop the pallet, robbing them of the stun, and forcing them to the next loop 20-30 seconds earlier.

That is just trying to create fix for idea, which is not needed to be in game. It would make killers who can ignore pallets, or destroy them fast way too strong compare to others.
It might be interesting to have perk that allows destroy standing pallets instead, but it would have to be limited and something you get later during game, not from start. Maybe one for each first hook on survivor, but that might be too easy.
Alternative would be that this perk activates when gen is finished, so you would be forced to use it fast, before it is wasted by another gen.

If someone would tell you to make all killers 4 m/s speed or to remove all killer's powers would you need to think about it to know it's a really bad idea?
I have no idea on how many hours you spent on this game but your idea is really bad for the game and you don't need a phd in nuclear physic to understand it

I would ask why you want to do it and how do you want to keep the balance of the game.

If he didn't think about it, he would say "I don't like this idea", but anyone who did will say "one of the worst ideas ever".
This would completely break balance of this game and it would be super easy to get 4k every game even against tournament team, because you will just sacrifice 2 gens and remove all their resources for it. There is not many maps, where you can have long chase only using windows.

you would just need to sacrifice 3 gens instead of 2. Very fun gameplay.
And good luck trying to play in normal way, survivors will just camp every pallet, because they have lot of them. Noone will try to loop. It would make dbd very boring to play.

For me "Zanshin tactic" should allow Killer to destroy a non-dropped pallet. But only once every 7min(?). Able to break shack pallet make it worth a perk. Most match Killer would able to destroy god 2-3 pallets

The only way I could possibly see allowing a killer to drop a pallet (or destroy an undropped pallet) is with a perk where you would have to earn tokens in order to do it.
Something like "Each time you break a dropped pallet earn a token. Spend 5/4/3 tokens to destroy an undropped pallet"
Still don't know if this would work, but I do know that just allowing a killer to drop all pallets at any time would be way too OP.

Maybe a perk on a long cooldown could possibly be OK but as base kit, no. It would be too strong, people would use corrupt and spend a bit of time breaking strong pallets at the beginning. Then again there is spirit fury to break pallets so I would think that would be better than a cd perk.
I don't think 3 pallets should be able to spawn within a very short distance of each other though as they can do now as they create an extra long god loop.

Killer Main here. Nope, never gonna happen without an overhaul of the gameplay design to balance such an outrageous thing. There are already options to deal with Pallets and I just don't think we need something that's gonna be nigh impossibleto really balance well. You can use a Anti-Pallet build if Pallets are bothering you, or use a Killer that can counter/overlook Pallets. I'm sure you know these, but it's a good refresher as well as info for newer players.
Perks you can use like Spirit Fury+Enduring, Brutal Strength, Hex: Blood Favour.
Killers like Nurse, Huntress, Oni, Hillbilly, Spirit, Nemesis, Trapper, Hag and Doctor can mess with Pallet play.

Yea that is the worst idea simply because the drop pallet then break it and it won't waste that much time like 10 seconds that's it

I really don't see the benefit of dropping a pallet unless the point was to break it afterwards (which a lot of people would do if this were the case). Say goodbye to not only the safety of shack's god pallet, but no tile becomes safe if the killer decides to go throughout the beginning of the map to drop and break every single pallet, creating dead zones that cannot be looped. Windows can only take you so far with bloodlust being a thing.
Even if you were to make Any Means Necessary base kit to "compensate" the issue still stands that a killer who drops the pallet themselves can break it, removing the option to pick it back up entirely. Even if there was a cooldown to it, the killer would just go for the safest pallets anyhow while survivors would just be on constant stealth mode.
