3 hackers only today... How is the anti cheat so bad?
It's redicules how easy it is to break this game with hacks...in the past you encountered hackers maybe every few months. Now I'm happy when I can play 15 rounds without one that destroys the game.
This game makes so much money with dlcs, the battlepass and cosmetics but it feels like almost nothing gets put in the game, shown by the many many bugs and how easy it is to mod and hack the game.
This game needs finally competition so the team finally wakes up...

What I find ridiculous is that this isn't hard stuff to detect because the majority of the people using mods aren't doing it subtly. They make impossible situations.
Insta heals without for the people (Tying it to a broken status, easy detection). Even with stacking all the healing speeds you don't get close to a insta heal.
Glitching/flying through stuff isn't a easy detection because of their terrible quality control so can't really do anything about that.
Teleporting massive distances? Easy detection. There's only a select few killers who are able to do something similar. Having automatic requisite checks rules out anyone doing it on killers that obviously can't do it.
Speed hacks? Easy detection. Easy detection. It is an impossibility. Player ran servers on GTA SA were able to detect those.
Using mash up killer powers? Easy detection. It is an impossibility.
Zero attack cooldown? Easy detection. Only one perk removes cooldowns.
This is the team though that can't even make a functional filter so I guess that's not an option. THe money from all those dlcs, battle passes and cosmetics should've been used to hire more competent people or at least OUTSOURCE THE WORK TO COMPETENT PEOPLE. Honestly the chat filter is really the best example of how terrible quality control is. I get the feeling that type of question will never be able to pop up in a Q&A. More likely my post will result in a ban if anything.
Anyways that's my viewpoint having admin'd on multiplayer mod communities for GTA games. Its fully possible to have amazing detection systems. The only difference is that in those communities, the anomalies would be checked by a admin as a just in case measure. The detection itself, spot on everytime. Not a coder but yeah, definitely doable if hobbyists can pull it off. Go figure, seldom a problem with hackers because of those systems. It is of course harder on a larger scale but the detection isn't there at all here nor in several AAA games.

And then turn off crossplay? So you have horrendus queues? The game isn't worth playing at that point.

I faced a Billy today. A BILLY! I was excited until I noticed something: After I'd been killed and was spectating, I noticed that he had no perks at all. No addons either. Not even an offering. Just a blank bar in the scoreboard. The survivors all had stuff but Billy was totally empty.
It was strange then when he somehow managed to activate corrupt intervention.
Then, after the match, I looked again and now his bar suddenly showed several perks. Even so, none of them were corrupt intervention.
Am I missing something here?

Eh, that's quite the visual glitch - first showing no perks at all, even with corrupt intervention firing, and then suddenly only during the endgame score do perks appear in his list, none of which are corrupt intervention? Smells fishy to me.

You can't see the killers perks until the game is finished and also he could've been running thrilling tremors or Deadmans switch which have a similar effect to corrupt

Dead survivors can't see the killer's load out until the game is over. They used to, but it was changed since dead Survivors would tell their teammates what perks the killer had, either from being in a SWF or literally just messaging the other survivors.
He probably had Thrilling Tremors if the Entity blocked showed up on the gens late into the game.

I mean, for most of the things you've listed, there is actually a possibility from the server's perspective:
- You dc'd from the server earlier without the server realizing and the input it was recieving was from before you dc'd
The server simply requests the steps done inbetween, and if they line up, its A-OK. Then simply add in a client that sends fake logs where it claims a survivor actually fully healed themselves over the course of 12 seconds when in reality it was only 2, and the server cannot detect it.

I actually encountered my first hacking the other day, all gens and two hexes were popped in under 30 seconds, so i went to stand in a corner so they didn't get boldness points and one of them used, literally, more than a dozen event firecrackers to try and blind me

Never seen a PC Player that say "Buy Console", In fact it's the other way around. Console Players usually abandon Console and tell others to Buy PC.

From what I have seen from some other threads(on steam) there appears to be a breach in EAC right now. Like I said this is what I heard from other people but its seems it is the case with the influx of cheaters right now.

The anti cheat has been broken for years and i've seen all sorts of wacky stuff lol i'd play on my ps4 like i used to but after purple ranks you get horrible queue times with cross play disabled, i literally beat the entirety of the metal gear solid hd collection on my vita mostly while waiting for queues on ps4 lol i'd take the ocasional hackers over the 1+ hour queues any day, when you have a full time job you don't get to stare at the lobby for hours on end sadly

Hi im french i play only survival because are hard sorry for my english but my only hacker in Xbox its Wallhack never speed or teleportation i play cross play and PC (computer) are full wallhack sorry for you buy ps5 or Xbox S/X for anti Hack

How long have you been playing DBD?
Perks for Killer don't appear until the match is over. This prevents people who play together to relay what the Killer is playing.

Oh I didn't know they accepted videos uploaded to YouTube. When I send them mine I send them either through a online ticket on the website or if that doesn't work because of the size of the file I send it by email in replies to tickets I have opened.
