Внутри форума есть переписка, которая как бы должна работать как личные сообщения, но ее нет.

Понял, нашел. Видимо, это должно быть подобием лички, а по факту мы имеет очередную неработающую функцию. Форум очень сырой, несмотря на то, что ему более трёх лет. Такое чувство, что это просто фан-проект модераторов и региональных коммьюнити менеджеров.
