Blood Warden rework idea
The killer Blood Warden is very unlikely to work due the unlikelyhood of survivors opening a gate AND remaining in the trial. I have a few ideas that can make the perk viable and interesting.
- Blood warden activates end game collaspe immeadiately when the last gen activates.
- Blood warden will regress exit gate progress (perhaps at half speed) while a survivor is hooked.
- The speed at which end game collapse progresses is increased.
- The penalty speed decrease for a survivor being hooked or in the dying state is reduced
- hooking your obsession will reveal all survivors within a certain distance of them permantly until rescued or getting away.
I think with a rework Blood warden can be a viable perk (rather than a meme) and i'd love to hear discussions on improving it.

But I like Blood Warden the way it is...
Although if EGC begins as soon as the gen is done, why would the exit gate regression even be needed? The entire point of 99ing a gate is to prevent EGC from starting so if it starts up by default at 5 gens popping, survivors would have no reason to not just open the gate.
The only change I would want to make to it is allow me to trigger Blood Warden once I hook someone instead of it triggering by default when someone is hooked but that would probably make it WAY too powerful.

There's a lot of variables here that aren't really connected to one another.
I like the idea of Blood warden activating after the last gen pops, immediately starting EGC and halve it's timer. With the blocking exits mechanic in conjunction, that's good enough.

I'm not following, does the EGC activates or are exit gates still closed (in order to regress progress)? Both can't happen at the same time.
To be fair, I like it as it is now. If I HAD to change something about it I'd make it BW activated after someone's been hooked AND someone else's at the exit gate (if doors are open but everyone's running around the hook going for the save it doesn't help much).

Remember me exist. Combine with your BW would make it impossible for the last survivor to escape.
If to make it less meme. I would make it work like No way out, 20sec block the exist once EGC starts, put some requirement that increase tokens, each token add more sec maximum 60sec.

The perk is viable as is, but these changes wouldn't work since they would change the mechanics of the egc drastically.
It is possible a new perk could be made to go along with these changes that could work.
- When a survivor is hooked or in the dying state, the exit gates begin to regress up to _% of their current charge when they are no longer being interacted with.
But for actual changes to Blood Warden. simply allow the gate to be blocked as it normally would. While also blocking the gate when a survivor is put into the dying state while in the exit room (to avoid hitting them out).

I'm not saying ALL of these should be used. With 99ing gates being the way to go Blood warden just does not function well. I really think it needs reworked ESPECIALLY since it has been the way it is since prior to the end game collapse mechanic was implemented. Since you play most of the trial without a perk it really needs to do something reliable and strong which I think it fails at.
