is dead hard still broken for console players?
I still feel like it’s broken. When they fixed lag for console players, dead hard started to work a lot more of the time, but now it’s started to freeze again every time I use it. I can’t even use the perk for distance without my game freezing and lagging back too. The best I can really get out of the perk is making the killer lunge at the air when I lag backwards which still doesn’t work most of the time and isn’t intentional. I don’t know if it’s my console, I don’t have an Xbox Series X and i’ve had my Xbox One since 2014, but it still runs other games fine. Is this happening with anybody else?

Dead hard is freezing for me as well. I’ve also had my XB1 since Christmas of 2014 and other games run perfectly fine except DBD.

Dead Hard is literally a pause button for my game when anyone uses it. Even right after the "fix" it was. But yeah now it's even worse if not more than before.

yes. everyone else's deadhard freezes my game a bit...also bloodlust... I don't actually try to use deadhard myself so idk if it freezes aswell. gonna assume it does.

Yes, Dead Hard and Sloppy Butcher are ones that screw over everyone in the match with freezes. It's awesome when killer hits teammate with Sloppy and the game freezes and then teammate uses Dead Hard for another freeze.

Dead Hard is widely used everyone knows that, and it's sad to see twitchers hope for console players in their games so they can down them easier when they dh and it messed up.

I suggest using sb or bl, those kinda work. Props to guys that made me aware of this.

I started using sb and it helps more than freezehard. You can still freeze when using it but it is not because of the perk but something else going on in the game. So it is better because it can actually work at least.

Yes. I've seen plenty of "Console deadhards" as they are called occur to this day. Plenty of survivors who dead hard and move like half an inch before coming to a stop

it freezes anytime I use it or when I play killer it freezes for even longer times, the game experience on Ps4 is still quite a nightmare,sadly.

There are quite a lot of things still broken for console players. Almost every exhaustion perk causes the game to freeze - Dead Hard, Lithe, Adren, and Smash Hit for sure.
