Something broke about the map generation.
After encountering quite absurd gen spawns since the last patch (see the 'of course it's lery's ' thread for pictures) across several maps (Hawkins apparently has one long room with at least three possible gen spots and all three of them did spawn), a similar thing now happens with totems.
Midwich is usually notorious for its spawns, but a now had two matches there and one on one of the macmillan maps (storehouse i think it was) where ALL totems spawned on adjacent tiles and on one occasion two on one tile...
What's going on?

Ever since the devs nerfed Small Game, I can't find totems anymore. It just doesn't work like it used to, so I believe you about weird spawns, I just haven't noticed it myself.

My friend keeps complaining about spawning a few meters from the killer. Not sure if he is just too new to understand as my lethal pursuer still shows them across the map to me. But idk, maybe something is off with spawns?

Something is definitely off with spawns....2 days ago I spawned inside of Leatherface's radius on Coldwind.

it would seem so. i've also seen streams where ALL gens spawned on one side of the yamaoka temple...
I ran small game for so long that I've gotten pretty used to the spawns. But I'd say even without that, having a nearly 360° signal for totems means something went wonky
