To reduce the grind...
Change survivors into skins.
When you decide to play survivor you choose skin for instance david. And his customization. This way you only have to prestige for every survivor.
I would suggest the same for the killer but I feel like killers wouldn't work properly.

Well levelling survivors also adds the thing of unlocking their teachable perks. To do this fully they'd have to get rid of teachables and make all perks part of one blood web.

That's way more complicated than the idea of removing perk tiers, which cuts the grind in the game into a third of what it is currently. Much easier and doesn't only benefit one side. (Also for weirdos like me who don't use other survivors' teachables on their survivors I dislike the idea of needing to swap my perk loadout every time I want to play someone new)

Tbh i like grinding, it keeps me motivated to play this game.
BUT
I'm suggesting to lower some item and offering prices. Also just retire the Murky Reagent 7k bps because no one uses it and it's expensive.

I honestly despise grinding but do it as I need to.

I rather not have everything shared, it's nice when a new Survivor comes out and have to grind again. Otherwise I have no reason to keep staying if it was just skins
Plus I like each Survivor having their own inventory as well

Sharing is cool. but I think only Event Offerings should be shared across characters.
What BHVR could do is change prestige system, make it so you get bloody prestige clothes in the bloodweb every 50 levels instead.
Then remove the effect that causes you to start over and removes your gained items. Put the Prestige Symbol on the Clothes.
That would also remove those ugly symbols of the character select menu and lobby.
