Let's be better sports in this game shall we?
I think there is too much showboating in this game if I am being honest. The game is hard enough for some people don't go tea bagging them to death. Especially if they're new to the game. You feel me?

You mean, like, 90% of the player base?

Regardless of how many it is lol xD

Reporting won't do anything in these instances because the things you have listed are not against the game rules and are not considered to be Unsportsmanlike Behaviour - you can read more about the game rules here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

Toxicity is a myth, sportmanlike is very rarely rewarded. Who's care about his 'reflection of his mentality' when the personal goal is different for each one ?
You just can apply your own rules and to hope they do the same. But you have right on this point, the 'behaviour' is very representative in this game. You can learn so many things from your opponents...

As I stated I know reporting won't do anything but I see what you're saying. I'm not referring to the actual games rules but more of a moral code of my own. Just a realization I had. I'm not trying to argue against the rules but just for my own sanity I choose to see it this way. Thank you for this link I wasn't aware of the actual rules.
GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
- Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
- Holding the game hostage
- In-game report REQUIRED / Customer Support ticket OPTIONAL
@MandyTalk question on this... The 2nd one from the top says... "Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience." Isn't that basically borderline tunneling? Just a side question.
People should be rewarded for doing the right thing? Though my girlfriend would disagree lol Showboating is frowned upon in competitive settings period. And it's more distasteful in a game that is casual.

No it's not about tunnelling it's about targeting an individual constantly and only that individual over the course of different matches.

OOH that makes sense! Thank you for clarifying that for me.

Idk I guess it's just more like frustrating when players play in that manor especially when you're genuinely trying to win the game and not be toxic and just play the game and others just... well toxic lol. I mean what ever people gotta do to feel better about themselves I suppose. I know I do the same in my own way so I guess I'm a hypocrite. Just wish there was the option to reward players for positive reinforcement.

Lol, the toxic part of this game is what makes it interesting imo. i just had a match were the survivors clicked flashlights and teabagged. So when i hooked them i smashed them on the hook. Was a fun and intense match and we all were good sports at the end in a sarcastic way. If you cant handle toxicity, then you shouldnt play this game, because it will always be there.

I see what you're saying. But that's not really what I am trying to convey here. What I am saying is, "Showboating" just like in professional sports should just be something to think about. Just an open discussion really. I think it is just a way to show you don't care about others feelings.

Hahaha i should have thought about this when i got matched with 3 swf on 4 different matches, not in a row but in total.
They menaged to ruin 1 game for me tho, but the other 3 matches they tried hard to do the same but failed miserably.
Should have thought of this rule back then but totally forgot about it. 🤦🏻♂️
