Can the dev nerf BT a bit im kinda tired to have this perk on every survivor. I think i forgot how to count after 12 because of this XD.
I know why BT is meta btw its just annoying to have this perk on every survivor almost

Can every Killer stop camping and tunneling then? I am nobody who hook-bombs, but I have BT for actual camping Killers. If all Killers please would stop doing that, I will gladly drop BT and use another Perk.

And for the killers that don't tunnel and lose a ton of pressure because of people hook bombing and then people body block with bt?

It depends on the situation like noed, devour hope, if the unhooker is injured, or on final hook.
They might take the risk on giving them an extra few seconds to escape even if it meant that they might die in the process

well, its also annoying having some asshat follow you around to kill you off so he has an easier game. if you go out of your way to do that, why should i go out of my way to pull punches because you dont like them?

So you can bitched at for tunneling. I don't even have a problem with bt honestly but unless a killer plays ubsurdly nice they will get ######### and even if they do survivors usually have trouble seeing the big picture of a game and will still think they are getting tunneled or camped or whatever.

Don't camp and tunnel and you should be good. It's an anti tunneling perk.

They need to learn to chase the BT body block. If survivors are going to play like rats, you need to match their tempo.

Borrowed time makes it so they can resist hits when someone is unhooked within a short time which usually means you're either camping or tunneling.

Dont pretend that you would care about it. Nobody would care about getting bitched at for tunneling if the Survivor decides do bodyblock with BT.

I don't think they should nerf the endurance but rather make it so the unhooked gets incapacitated for a while or something.

For 8/10/12 seconds after unhooking a Survivor, the unhooked Survivor is protected by the Endurance. So unless you hit them within a really short time of an unhook it won't set off.

I think killer mains do, because they always whine about what survivor mains calling them a tunneler. But yes, generally speaking, nobody in their right mind would care.

wait out 60 secs? 12 sec bt, 60 sec ds, including pick up, and hook animation is almost the same as a solo gen if not more.

Yeah, I mean, I dont tunnel or camp, unless it is Endgame. But if I try to go for another person and someone with BT bodyblocks me, I will tunnel them out. Got called a Tunneler by a Meg who did this two times against me in the same game. She bodyblocked, I waited, she used Dead Hard into nothing, she was down, back on the Hook. And I really, really tried to go for another Survivor (one time the Unhooker, another time the guy I was chasing who ran to the Hook).
Got called a Tunneler by her, but at least one other Survivor called her stupid.

Well as long as you didn't run back to hook to get someone and they went out of their way to find who you're chasing to bodyblock within the time it runs it's not really tunneling if they come to you.

I have tried to help unhookers when some killers tunnel to go after the unhooker like I blinded one with a flashlight.

Yep, that would get me to tunnel you instead, and face camp. I think it is a good strategy for survivors.

Not really i can hook someone and the survivor can bomb the hook the second i finish the hooking animation then the unhook survivor will body block because of BT. What happen in most of my match the survivor i chase go for the unhook then the survivor that was hook body block my ass i count to 12 and say you want to get tunnel its fine by me

If you see this perk on every survivor there must be a reason, right? If the perk gets nerfed it means the base problem should be as well.

Face camping and tunneling are just cheap tactics to be honest. Especially against solo que rando groups. I had a tunneler and camper who kept tunneling me then at end game facecamped someone they only got one kill the person they facecamped near the end and they were so pissy about it. Meanwhile I've seen killers who don't do either which are a real challenge to face. But the thing is with rando ques it's a coin toss whether your team mates are competent without having to worry about camping and tunneling killers.

Please, you know perfectly well BT is not used as defense against tunneling, it's used to toxically bodyblock the killer after the unhook, so that both survivors can get away without taking a hit.

If you're going for either of the survivors you're still really tunneling. So it's kind of fair that they use that. If killers didn't tunnel and camp they wouldn't need anti tunneling and camping perks.

So, going for the unhooker is tunneling too? Well, I guess soon going after ANY survivor will be "tunneling", and being present on the map will be "camping". Or is it already?

The only change that I think would be good for bt is doing something similar to DS. If you touch a gen, go for a unhook, heal a survivor etc then you lose the endurance status.

I use it only as a defense against tunneling and camping. I dont go for unsafe Unhooks unless it is necessary (Killer is camping and the person is about to die or reach second stage).
So if all Killers would stop doing that you will have at least one person who will not run BT anymore. :] But we all know that Killers like to tunnel and camp because it is a sTrAtEgY.

This one and you even commented on it. The op seems to have a skewered view on what camping and tunneling is.
It is not the case when survivor unhook while the killer didn't even manage to make enough distance to get them out of their terror Radius.
Several times yesterday i hade survivor unhook right behind me still in viewing distance. But i didn't go for the unhooked and they didn't force a bit so everything was fine.

also did i claim to be a developer? because i dont remember doing so, those are words you are shoving onto me, since it seems to be a heady concept ill elaborate. since killers go out of their way to tunnel down a survivor for an easier game, why should i not be able to use every single anti-tunnel perk that exists to make it harder for you.

I dont care about the bitching in fact I leave my profile public since I get a kick out of the hate comments I get knowing full well I go out of my way to be a fairly nice killer. What I do care about is that bhvr mentioned implementing an auto ban system and I know for a fact I've gotten bogus reports on my account.

Honestly not really, more playing devils advocate for how some people use and abuse bt. I know why it needs to stay as strong as it is and I dont even think its badly designed more just that people complain about tunneling then go and bodyblock after getting unhooked and wonder why the killer decided to go after them. Perhaps a bit off topic but thats where my thoughts were at when I made my comment.

We can nerf BT as long as Ruin gets nerfed as well. I would say lately 80% of killers have it. There seems to be a lot of complaining about survivors using certain perks or loadouts and conveniently forgetting killers have similar issues.

You cannot have this attitude and then want survivors to fascilitate you by 'playing nice' too. If youre a killer who is in the game to sacrifice everyone then you cannot be surprised when survivors band together to do everything in their power to survive.
The problem is you never know which type of killer you are getting. Is it someone who want to play to win or someone who wants to play to have fun dance around the objectives a bit. Different people seem to have different expectations around what we should all be doing and it's confusing a lot of the time due to no communication on the console end.

I wasn't implying you would personally but reading around here a lot of killers do seem to get super salty when you do objectives too quickly etc.
I get it - especially if you have waited 10 mins for a match you don't want it over in 5 mins but it's hard to tell who wants what as a survivor at this point. Play styles that you think logical to other people seem toxic.
