Reworking literally everything in DbD, with community input
I'd type it all in here, but it's over 30 pages long, so scrolling would be a nightmare. I do have it in this >>Google Doc<< for anyone who is interested, and you can comment over anything you like or want to change.
Every killer is reworked, any perk that I deemed necessary was as well, alongside game mechanics, items, maps, scratch marks, and just about everything else. Any issue you have with DbD, it's probably in there. If not, tell me and I'll add it. I want this to be comprehensive and collaborative, but also balanced enough that the devs to take notice.
Feel free to just stick to reading the parts you care about. Please leave any feedback you have, I want to balance this for as many people as I can. It is still a work in progress though, so bear with me.

I read and liked some ideas, I even commented a little. I would comment more, but I'm doing something similar at the speed of a snail.

Feel free to share! Would love to collaborate

Is there a specific killer you'd like to see some ideas for? or some perks? (I used google translator if the phrase seems strange, I know English, but I'm not confident in my English)

Unfortunately this is a wasted effort... BHVR usually doesn't listen and does things by their own imagination.
2 -
They do listen, but this does not mean that they need to follow.
E.g. in this document the OP wrote that the Speedboost should not be given to Survivors on the first Tentacle Hit from Nemesis. They will not do that, but not because they dont listen, because they tested it and decided against it.
Also written is that Exit Gates should regress - again, they tested it and decided against it.
Not doing anything (immediatly or at all) does not mean that they are not listening.

you want to nerf no mither? lol ok. cant take this seriously after seeing that
0 -
######### do you mean nerf? I buffed it so the killer has no idea that you have it, and you can use it a couple times and still get healed within a reasonable time.

Idc what BHVR tests, they completely ignore the veteran community and higher ranks. Nemesis isn't good at red ranks. Any veteran player (Otz, Scott, etc.) who plays him agrees that speed boost needs to go
0 -
That's the hope. They're incredibly ignorant though, they think they know better than the players

I need help with Demo? Feel free to review them all though

Also if you have your own Doc, send a link! :)

Probably, but if even 1 idea makes it it's worth it. The pipe dream is for the community to take notice of this until the devs can't ignore it

Every Killer is good at Red Ranks. Nemesis is no exception. You can win at Red Ranks with every Killer.
0 -
You can win, but not against every team. Encounter a good SWF on the wrong map and you're not gonna win. Otz is a DBD god and even he's struggling. Nemesis doesn't have enough chase power, and the zombies are far too inconsistent. He's just a far weaker Pyramid Head

ur making it so it takes longer for you to heal each time u pick urself up for an extra 15 percent on grunts of pain?

I know it's the least important part of document, but somewhy it pinched me the wrong way.
"Getting rid of the lion roar in favour of Amanda herself snarling would be awesome"
This makes zero sense. Female squeal, heard at the end of some growl variations, already implies that it's her snarling. Aside from the fact that in real life people can perfectly replicate animal sounds, it's the Entity's Realm we're talking about - things do change and get twisted. Phillip turned into a ducking walking tree-like-creature here, Mandy making animal noises isn't anything unusual. Plus, in first movie similar sounds were present in the scenes of Adam's and Lawrence's abduction. Scenes didn't share the same growling, sounds were different (despite it being same movie), which implies that it wasn't a recording, but rather the abductor's intimidating growl/snarl. So not only it makes sense lore-wise and 'realistic'-wise, it's also an homage to movies. A~and in the video you attached yourself are sounds, which already are used in game.

That's the bone you're picking, out of everything I said...? Ok then. I want it to be her snarling, because that seems more realistic and immersive to me than a lion roar for a pig. She has some cool snarling soundbites, use them

With No Mither currently, you are broken the entire game. This way, you start the game healthy, can be healed a couple times before it just takes way too long, and the killer won't recognize that you can pick yourself up. With current No Mither you just can't heal at all, so idk how this is a nerf

i suggest, you put what you changed into the rework, cause alot of the perks it makes it seem like ur adding on. like "instead of beain broken all game..."

When they're formatted like a perk description instead of a bulleted list, the old perk isn't linked to that description at all. Sorry about that. Once the guide is finished there's gonna be an intro with that stuff

As I said, the 'soundbites' you are talking about are ALREADY in the game. If you never noticed it, then listen closely. You want "realism" in a game where a guy can run a hundred miles with a chainsaw in his hand as if he had an everlasting engine up his ass and where an ordinary ice-cream man can get hooked on a rusty metal twice and be hit with a sharp deadly weapon gazillion times and still somehow not die.
And you 100% ignored the part where I said that it's a direct homage to the Saw movies, where a very similar animalistic snarling is heard during scenes, where a person in Pig's mask abducts a victim. Doing justice to characters in relation to the property they've been taken from is thousand times more important than realism, as it's the franchise's fanbase they are catering to with the licensed DLCs in the first place.

Still fun tho to see what people come up with

I didn't start with add-ons, so my list won't be good. I'm doing the perks first and then the add-ons.
Add-ons:
· Rotten Pumpkin: okay
· Black Heart: Slightly reduces Cool-down of missed Shred attacks (-0.5 seconds)
· Rat Liver: okay
· Rat Tail: Increases the number of available Portals by 1. Slightly increases Portal Opening speed.
· Sticky Lining: Slightly increases Portal Sealing time for Survivors. Slightly increases Killer Instinct Detection range when charging Of the Abyss.
· Viscous Webbing: successful shred attacks afflict survivors with mangled.
· Rotten Green Tripe: okay
· Mew's Guts: When knocking down a survivor with shred attacks, all generators within 20 meters of you start regressing.
· Barb's Glasses: okay
· Eleven's Soda: Reveals the Auras of Generators being repaired in yellow while traversing the Upside Down and for 3 seconds after emerging from a Portal.
· Thorny Vines: Slightly reduces Shred Recovery time after successful Shred attacks.
· Brass Case Lighter: Reveals the auras of Survivors who seal your portals for 6 seconds. Once out of contact with the Portal, the Oblivious effect persists for 30 seconds.
· Violet Waxcap: slightly increases the maximum shred distance (+2 meters)
· Deer Lung: remove the downside
· Lifeguard Whistle: okay
· Vermilion Webcap: okay
· Upside Down Resin: When a survivor cleanses a portal, suffers from the Incapacitated Status effect for 12 seconds
· Unknown Egg: Survivors injured with Shred attacks suffer from the Broken Status Effect for 90 seconds.
· Leprose Lichen: okay
· Red Moss: okay

Good! I add to it regularly. Also, perk ideas and chapter ideas here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gTJvr8EWKhNHx5JZnmemLL1zenFOsY-pb5x-qDb9KcM/edit?usp=drivesdk

Thanks, I'll keep these in mind :)

Hey, fair enough. Lion roar or not, that is so not a big deal compared to everything else I've worked on lmao. And I do know those soundbites are in the game, where do you think I got them from? I was just saying make them louder and remove the roar
