Will people hate me If use dead hard
I'm thinking about putting dead hard back in my solo queue build but I'm not sure about the reaction I could get from using dead hard. I know it's a controversial perk. So I have to ask
Will killers hate me If I use dead hard? Am I a bad survivor if I use dead hard and should I even use it?

Eh, who cares what they think. I personally use Dead Hard because I play solo queue.
It doesn't make you a bad survivor either. Perks are meant to be used, so don't be afraid to equip it.

Dead hard's a great perk with a high skill ceiling. nobody really gets bothered about dead hard.

People will hate you for playing the game.
People will hate you for existing.
Play for fun. IF you can do that, and try not BM, then nothing should be off limits.

Perks exist for a reason.

Dead Hard is annoying but I never get hate for it unlike what I see my teammates get for successfully using Unbreakable or DS.
Unless its trapper but then again its trapper and he's still countered by way too many perks.

Yes, I will hate you unless you die, then I won't. But that's my general rule for every game, regardless of perks

No.

Use it if you want. Perks are meant to be used. I never say anything to anyone for running perks they want to use (even if I hate the perk).
2 -
Killers already assume you're using Dead Hard until proven otherwise.

If I see one dead hard in the game, I begin tunneling hard and sometimes camping&slugging (if I can afford it), just to spite them. Dead hard is one of the most toxic and unfair perks which grants survivors several extra lives per trial for free. To me every dead hard is a spit in the killer's face, and every survivor picking it is doing so to bully the killer. Nothing more satisfying than seeing all those cocky dead hard users getting 4k'd and then wondering "why did you do it?????" in the end-game chat.

Gonna save this copy pasta.

This is a copypasta right?

Inevitably, yes.
Do I think Dead Hard could be tweaked somewhat? Yes
Do I think it’s a priority because it’s gamebreaking? No, many other things should be looked at by the devs first.

You're taking things way too seriously.
4 -
you shoudnt get hate for using dead hard. problems with dead hard are with the game itself.
1 -
I hate deadhard, but i hate many other things too and you shouldn't change your playstyle because some people might not like it or you will just end up being everyone's cuck.

I play however I want, not breaking any rules. If they bring broken and toxic perks, knowing very well they are broken, just to ruin my game, I will try and ruin theirs.
nope, why?

damn

Just use it! If killers don't complain about DH, it's DS, a while ago it was MoM before that was nerfed. I'd say enjoy it whilst it lasts. It'll inevitably be nerfed. I used to have the same mentality as you with old DS, old instant heal addons and especially instant flashlights... now I kind of regret not trying them out more (despite how ridiculously broken they were).

I'm of the mind of, while I might find some perks annoying to deal with, I won't give you ######### for what you choose, if you don't give me ######### for what I choose. So no, I won't personally hate you for using Dead Hard, but in return you can't turn around and give me hell for using NOED. If it exists in the game, then it's meant to be used, so just go with what you want. So long as your not a dick about it, then you're good =)

Jesus my guy, who hurt you? O.o

the mental gymnastics needed to get to this point
7 -
you should run whatever perks you want, if killers shame you for using dead hard than ignore them.
1 -
If someone hates you as a player for using something in the game they might have a problem with, that's such severely misplaced blame that it's not even worth recognizing.
People can and should talk about stuff they think should be changed, but shaming people for using stuff in the game is just scrub whining. Assuming we're not talking about actually breaking the rules in some way of course.

It's so hard to tell what's real on these forums sometimes.
1 -
either side will hate you for doing anything ,even if what you are doing is nothing. I've seen videos where a killer is complaining about survivors before he even finds one, and vice versa.
2 -
Whatever perks you play the other side will find a reason to complain, especially if they lose.
1 -
It shouldn’t be controversial. It’s a perk that’s in the game, and that’s it. I don’t understand the hate against DH because it’s not that tough to deal with as a killer (I play killer most of the time). Use whatever perks you like and don’t let anyone make you feel bad about using it!
1 -
Yeah, probably some will. But some people will hate you for running or doing anything. While it’s nice to be considerate of other people’s enjoyment, it only really goes so far because people in this community will ######### at you for literally anything.

People will hate you for anything. Run whatever you’d like.

Never seen anyone get flamed in chat for using it. If I were you I would worry more about the fact it often doesn't work.

It is now.

Yes. You should still run it if you want though. Might as well have fun with this game while it lasts.

Dead hard takes 0% skill to use. All its used for is dead harding pallets and windows to get an extra chase. A strong perk with little downsides. But I've heard it might be getting reworked im not sure though.

In this game, people will hate you no matter what. So play however you want.
1 -
Yes, but why should you care?
0 -
Sure, but they’d also hate you if you ran pretty much any other perk, finished a gen too fast, or hit them with a pallet. May as well run it anyway.
0 -
Don't worry you will be the one hating it after landing exhausted on the ground.
3 -
Yes, and it doesn't matter, run whatever you want, you bought the game with your own money.
0 -
To say they brought it just to ruin your game is more than a little narcissistic.

I have to do it...
If I see one dead hard in the game, I begin tunneling hard 🥵and sometimes camping&slugging 😤😫(if I can afford it)😑, just to spite them😈😈. Dead hard is one of the most toxic 🤢and unfair 🤮perks which grants survivors several extra lives per trial for free😡😡😡. To me every dead hard is a spit in the killer's face🤬, and every survivor picking it is doing so to bully the killer🥶. Nothing more satisfying than seeing all those cocky dead hard users getting 4k'd 🤗😎😜🤣and then wondering "why did you do it?????🧐😱" in the end-game chat.🤧💩

Umm. Is everything ok?

Well I haven't used dead hard in a while and I was thinking about using it again.
When I play I do my best to try and make everyone's game enjoyable which is why I don't use it.

As long as a survivor don’t abuse dh I don’t care if they have it sometimes they screw up in hilarious ways like a game earlier tonight playing Michele I’m in tier3 and a David just finished healing in front of me instead of staying wounded to dh

people will hate you just to hate you dude like this guy says, run what you want, play how you want. that being said dont expect your oppo to show you mercy at all this is a game where typically if one side is having fun the other isnt, its just the nature of this kind of game.
1 -
Nah I usually don't have a problem downing the user after baiting it out
1 -
Normally, no, play how you want.
But pls not rn because you're gonna freeze every console player everytime you use it :(
0 -
Some really weird people might. The vast majority will not care. Your build, your perks. Pick what you want.
