Ok we have a bit of rain on one or the other map, but if you ask me, the best weather effect by far is still Ormond. With that swirling wind and the snow. That looks really good. I found something from a fanmade alien chapter. I don't want to talk about the chapter itself, but I want to point out the thunderstorm (not only the rain and the bad visibility but also the sound for the atmosphere) in the video. Do you think something like that would be technically feasible and realistic in DBD, or would that waste too much resources and make it impossible to play?

From 1:min35 it goes off. Just have a look at it.

It would look great sure, but optimization is already bad enough as it is.

Additional weather effects would easily make performance even worse than it already is

Weather has nice potential but can go seriously wrong

Due to optimization problems and how console is set at ultra permanently because we don't have a quality setting for some reason

We will all look like this in that setting

I wouldn't mind weather effects on all maps, like Friday 13th. Imagine playing Ironworks with a Thunder storm, or Coldwind Farm with Snow

id like a radiation storm and if you get too many rads you starting puking

Yes, well, they would first have to get to grips with the performance, that's true.
