Survivors Play A Role In The Effectiveness Of NOED
I recently saw a post saying that NOED rewards bad killers. Instead of looking at it from that perspective look at it from the perspective that it penalizes survivors for not cleansing totems.
The video I linked below shows an example of a match that one perhaps two survivors would have escaped had they cleaned the totems.
For this match I used No One Escapes Death, Blood Warden, No Way Out and Lethal Pursuer. Lethal Pursuer isn't a perk I generally use however I wanted to get a jump on the survivors locations for this match. I was also lenient on the survivors so I would have some still alive after all the generators had been completed. I did however wanted No Way Out to have 4 tokens. Especially since I only had it at tier 1.
Their were two remaining survivors when the last generator was finished and both of them were in a healthy state.
Blood Warden didn't play a role as neither exit gate had been opened. No Way Out had 4 tokens blocking the exit gate switch for 36 seconds once they tried to open one of them. Even so with two healthy survivors had they cleansed all the totems one, perhaps both of the remaining survivors would have escaped.

I’m not watching all that, and you conveniently leave out the endgame screen.
There’s plenty of DBD killer builds that are so strong cleansing all the totems isn’t feasible, especially in solo Q or on a huge map like RPD without dedicated totem hunting perks.
It’s not reasonable to expect all 5 totems to get done every game, especially when people like me, who don’t need NOED, have completely front loaded builds and doing dull totems is practically throwing the game

One of my friends hates noed so much that they run detectives hunch every game. I love playing with them because we never get cleaned out by noed and I feel so smug about 1 survivor perk absolutely destroying 1 killer perk.
We used 6% of our perks to destroy 25% of theirs.

I'm the same way. Detectives Hunch is permanently in my build if not at least one totem hunting perks.
I don't like dealing with hex perks at all.

I always use it as a survivor too. It is pretty effective in eliminating the the potential threat of NOED not too mention the other HEX totems.

Good luck finding all 5 totems on Midwich without totem-hunting perks and SWF.

How do you know their wasn't and end game screen if you didn't watch the video and what does an end game screen have to do with the point of my post anyways? If you have a valid reason why it is important I can post it just for you.
As for it not being reasonable I am not sure how you came to that conclusion.

It didn't take me long to learn those possible locations in Midwich. It's one of the easiest maps to find them in.
