When the survivors won't leave

So I was looking for some advice and/or opinion on what to do and what should be done when a survivor(s) do not leaving the trial after the exit gates open?

Recently I have had a lot of matches trying out new killers and a lot of the survivors have be exceptionally toxic both in game and post game PSN messaging  and I can deal with that.

What really is annoying me is that some suvivours have been staying in the trial well after the exit gates have been opened and they have being teabagging me in never-ending loops in the map.

So my question is this, how do I counter this? 10 to 15 minutes of my time is wasted on this and I can't seem to do anything about it. Should gameplay mechanics be looked at to prevent this (e.g. 5 minutes to leave or do another 2 gens) or is this just going to be another way that killer mains get bullied by OP survivors?

I don’t consider this bullying. Toxic, maybe. Annoying, hell yeah. But it’s not bullying. There’s nothing you can really do except chase them out. If survivors want to compensate for their lack of self esteem, let ‘em. They’re not worth your time to get angry about.

Curious of people thoughts on this. I mainly do survivor so I don't have to deal with this but even as survivor I'll usually spectate just to see if people get away or learn from their gameplay and I'm sitting there screaming "just go through the f'ing door" when they do that.

    It's unsportsmanlike and just pointless.

I will admit I may wait in the hallway to get last minute points for healing or a little hunt but I don't just run around or "teabag". I rather let us all get in another game and play some more.

I will say for my part, I think having to do more gens would be a bit too much, but I do like the idea of some kind of timer.

Maybe the doors start to close again instead. Even from the beginning. Would add some scare to it as well if you legitimately couldn't get to the door right away and you're running to it and see it slowly closing and it's still open just enough for you to make it through. Do you keep running for it, or try to kite and prepare to have to open the door(s) again.

You can't counter it. They're allowed to do it. Again this game sells on toxicity so its no wonder its been left in the game.

I think the should be a button for the killer to close the exit gates. Hear me out...

You have it at a fixed point in the map, say the basement. Once the killer interacts with this the survivors get a warning on there screen that the exit gates are closing in 20-30 seconds, and the exit gate locations are revealed to them. They then have to get out or else the exit gates and hatch are closed permanently, the survivors aura is permanently revealed to the killer, and the rancor effect turns on - exposed and ability to kill.

Now obviously this button couldn't be used if a survivor was on a hook as that would be unfair. All survivors would have to be unhooked for this to happen. And by the act of having to go down to the basement, the killer couldn't get someone trapped somewhere they couldn't get out of.

Now killers have a choice. They can hunt the survivors down and play the normal way. Or they can decide "well this is a loss", press the button and give the survivors 30 seconds to get out of the game.

Its not a perfect solution but at least survivors could only stay in the game teabagging for 30 seconds as opposed to 5-10 mins as detailed in the op.

this is why I don't play with new killers that much, and mostly play the ones that let me devastate them. (AKA, the princess: Hag)

I go and smoke a bowl, or flip the tv on, and face a corner. Let them tire themselves out like the children they are. It's #########, especially since reporting them nets you nothing. They are looping you because they know they can. If none have left. Just D/c. You'll deny them survival points at least.

And lets be hones,t who honestly gives a ######### about ranking up? there is no point, and no reward except salt.

This is why I'm hosting a end tournoment where both sides must record there game on ps4 so if people pull the teabag the killer because they lost the match routine they fourfit there team that match for first offence second your all booted same for if killers just act toxic though will need unbiased mods for that but did set down some ground rules for camping if it's last 2 gens or a gates open go ahead as it might be your only kill if it's earlier and you was followed you got 30 seconds to check the area for them if not you got 15 seconds before you have to leave the area of 24m

I'm a killer main but I personally don't get bothered by it. Sometimes survivors just wait there to give you some more hits against them so you can gain more bloodpoints. This community can be very toxic, but honestly I don't believe that most of them do that just to provoke you. Same as T-bagging. Don't take it personally. It's just for fun often. You know teasing, but not in a mean way.
Obviously some people like to stay at the exit gates and/or T-bag just to provoke and bully you, probably to feel better about themselfes. But personally I think a lot of them don't do it to just be toxic, they do it just for fun.
Some people tend to take this game to seriously.

However if you are talking about survivors that loop you endlessly even after the exit gates are open, than that's something different. They might just want to farm more points off of you, but many do that to just be toxic and prove they are superior to you in the game. For what ever reason, it's not like being good in a video game is something to be too proud off.
Pretty sure that's holding the game hostage though, and is bannable.

This game desperatley needs an endgame fix, I like this one. You could waste your time going to the basement and pushing that button or chase Survivors or if they are being this douchey then just press the button and kick them out of the game. I do want something like this that punishes Survivors for sticking around longer than they need, say looking for the hatch when everyone is gone. Or if you're hunting people but can't find anyone just go down and push the button and if they can't find the exit in time they're dead. I sometimes get into a situation where the Exit(s) are open but I just got unhooked and I don't know where the killer is or the damn Exit so I wander around looking for it. If this was an option, it would show players like me where the Exit is and they can't get out well they';re screwed, a great tactical device even if it isn't for people who hold the game hostage.

There is no real counter aside from NOED, or Rancor, and catching them away from the exit point.
By the time they're doing this, bloodwarden is useless because good luck dragging a survivor out.

Could pair blood warden and NOED, drop one of the #########, and hook them activating blood warden, but you may as well have an end game build dedicating half your perks to it.

Could just do something else entertaining, and afk while you let them waste their time.

Or you could swallow your pride, and do what they want in chasing them out, and even then they may just stay to harass more.

There really needs to be a timer that runs similar to the Pigs reverse bear trap timer.
If there is no altruism to be had, and the gates are open, the timer is ticking. Leave in 3 minutes, or be sacrificed automatically as the bubble the map in gets recycled/reset.
If they find a way to abuse it, walk it back to when the last generator is done.

Or maybe make the gates more fair because of how ridiculously safe they are for survivors.
    Exposed status.
Maybe even standing Mori like Myers.
As it is, it's pretty pointless for the average killer to even be near the gate.

Lets hope the devs fix the end game sooner than later.

Ill consider it a good thing that I'm either that-big-of-a- jerk, that most people leave when they see me coming .. I mean they do butt dance ... and I have occasionally have that hard core guy looking for the hatch, but they never hold me hostage. :/ im sorry its happening to other people.
