Legion Add-ons

I feel like this is his true weakness. He has no real utility in his add-on kit. They are redundant. Here's some examples.

He has 2 purples that make his frenzy 3 hit, without the need to break chase. ( Franks tape and stab wound survey. Franks tape makes the whole meter about 75% of what it would normally be, even if you don't see it. And Stab Wounds Survey makes your frenzy hits do significantly more meter dmg.

He has 2 add-ons that decreases the amount of time to fill your frenzy meter... (rulers)

...And another 2 that lowers the Frenzy's cooldown ( Julie and Joey's tapes)

They should adjust at least one of these two pairs of redundant add-ons, to add more utility.

On top of all those problems, he also has a Red Add-on that is actually bad for him to take. The Fuming Mix Tape requires you to stun yourself (aka: activate your power out of a chase, just to look around) in order to look at the health of the generators. This add-on is god tier, on Wraith. But the wraith travels in his power, The Legion do not.

If these problems would be addressed, I feel he would be a lot more viable. As he would have more utility to rely on.

I agree that his addons are pretty uncreative, half of them are worthless and could be replaced with something that effects Mending. If you need your power to refill faster then you're pairing with one of those Purples, if you're using the pin you're just weird because you NEVER injure someone out of Frenzy and then Frenzy them. We need more addons that either effect Mending or addons that add more effects like Hindered or slower repair speed, etc. Hitting someone with Frenzy and making them Hindered would be super powerful because then you could down them with normal walking speed.

I agree with this. I am actually enjoying Legion quite a bit, I love the idea behind them and their appearance.

But... Yes. The add-ons feel underwhelming and not really useful.

The pins are straight up useless, and i feel that the "less cooldown" and "bar fills quicker" are, as you said, redundant.
The only useful ones (without taking on account "Frank's mixtape" and the "less timer" purple one) are "+duration", "+speed" and the "+mending time" knives (at least you keep survivors busy).

I feel like, since The Legion has an easy time hitting people, they should change the redundant ones for things that apply status effects, like exhaustion, blindness, or even gen repairing speed penalty.

I wish they gave this an oportunity...

I don't think Legion's addons are particularly more redundant/uncreative than addons for other killers. All killers have addons that apply the same effect where the rarity determines the magnitude of the effect. This is nothing new... I think Legion's issues lie mostly with his power. Regardless, addons shouldn't be the way a killer is reworked.

The Red-addon is decent (definitely not as good as other Red addons tho) if you're a killer who likes to monitor gens a lot. I think using Legion's power as a method of mobility is pretty underrated.

It could be parlty viable, if paired with one of the two different CD add-ons I guess. but still you are stunning yourself to find a gen to run to.

I feel like you still definitely get a significant positive benefit, in terms of distance covered, despite the stun. The stun is frustrating, but I just find it funny when I see Legions try to monitor gens across the map and choose to walk there @ 110% movement speed xD

It's not just the stun, it's also depleting your power before you get there. I can sorta see it useful with one of the two cooldown addon lines he has though. But "sorta useful" shouldn't be red, it should be purple. Just because something is red teir on one killer, doesn't mean it's just as useful on a different kille,r with a completely different playstyle.

The Legion's Red's should be like

Bloody Button: The Legion can tell how close a survivor is to bleeding out by the intensity of their aura.

    • Allows the Legion to see the auras of all survivors inflicted with deep wounds.

This would be a viable addon IMO because 1: There are perks and stuff on the map to counter it.
2: It gives them a lot of utility, attached to their power, while not being completely op.

Agree 100% it shouldn't be red. Purple at best. I do think the devs kind of thought, hey people like the Wraith's new red addon and so let's just slap it on Legion too!

I'm almost Legion main now, 100hrs+ on him right now, and i try use this Red addon 5-7 times, and i can say, it's much more useless then Wraith version. I mean, it is not so bad, and some times usefull. But its not a RED addon. mb green or purpl

so true didn't even think of that. I think a funny ultra addon be face an ultra difficult skill check during mending and if fail instadowns you. But sure any addons to good will have to find a negative attribute also to come with it. Sure if they did your awesome addon they probally also nerf his normal walking speed.

Snap Out of It has a similar feature, whenever you miss the skillcheck you reset the progress, I think that would be awesome for Mending. I think if they're at 99% and they miss the skillcheck they should go instantly down but if they're in the middle of the timer it should just reset the progress if they miss it.
