how far can you hear survivors grunts of pain?

    ~12-16m, but it's not a confirmed number by any means. Stridor doesn't increase this range afaik, just the sound volume.

    I don't think there is a definitive answer. Even if there's nothing in the way to block sound and no one has sound-effecting perks, different survivors make different amounts of noise. You'll probably be able to hear a Meg much easier than an Ace. Default hearing distance for a gen is 20 metres, so I imagine a little bit less than that.

    It's different for each survivor. Jeff and Ash can be heard from quite a large distance, whereas Ace and Kate require you to be much closer, especially if they're crouched.
