Would Crosshair on Huntress make her OP?
What if there was a very rare/ultra addon that added a crosshair to Huntress’ POV? It’s in the same vein as how the Plaid Flannel for Nurse shows where she’s blinking.
Would this make Huntress OP? I would think this wouldn’t necessarily make the top Huntress players any better, especially since they’d lose an addon slot for Babushka, reload speed, etc.
We can throw Trickster into the discussion while we’re at it.

Since it would show whether or not it would hit them I think for lower skilled Huntress, Trickster, & Deathslinger it would be. Instead of relying on your own experiences & knowledge the game just has a big bright aura telling you exactly what it's going to hit. I think it would carry too many people, but it wouldn't be broken.

Personally I don't think a crosshair would help that much. Since Huntress' hatchets go at an arc so you will still need to play her often to get an idea of what to do with her.
It will make a lot of people who play her for the first time boosted though

Throw one hatchet at the start of the game, boom you instantly have a subconscious crosshair. Your brain is built to take in minor calculations, thats why you can consistently hit shots as slinger and huntress despite the lack of a crosshair showing you where your projectile will go. A crosshair is entirely useless since DBD isn't really build for split second accuracy, and the projectiles have generous hitboxes and predictable movements.

Huntress throws washing machines at survivors. All you really need to do is aim around the center and you're fine. I really don't see why people need crosshairs. She is not that easy to play, but crosshairs aren't the answer.

Plenty of people play with crosshairs via software or their monitors so no, not at all

I think that would be a great Add-On for people who wants to learn Huntress. Just like "Plaid Flannel" for Nurse and "Chipped Monocle" for Blight.

They do go at an arc, but a fully wound-up hatchet over a short distance will still go pretty straight. I’m not a great Huntress but I’m pretty confident that I’d hit 90% of my shots on those survivors that try to juke your shots up close if I had a crosshair.

Diy tip. Simply tape a piece of confetti in the middle of your screen and boom you have a makeshift crosshair.
Mandatory advice though, i have no idea how modern screens fare with adhesives from tape and so on. I just remember doing this in the times of old bulky monitors with glas front.

People literally put tape on their screen with a cross in the middle. It doesn't even have to be a mechanic.

The Clown's gas has a crosshair so they wouldn't even need to get a team of designers to work on one. Just CTRL C, CTRL V it over to The Huntress. (I believe that's how programming works).😜
A crosshair should be default, but I would gladly accept running a brown addon every Huntress match rather than putting stickers on my expensive TV.

I’m on console, I can’t simply download a program for crosshairs. And I’m not putting tape on my 4K TV lol - not that sweaty.
Again, not really advocating for this but for me it’d be a nice QOL change. It’s not like shooter games tell you “Hey you should know what the middle of the screen is, just aim there!” I get that bullets are more precise than hatchets, but even RPG weaponry comes with a crosshair. 😂

The option to have a crosshair for the ranged killers should be there.
Regardless of whether or not you approve of it (I'm personally unsure) PC players already have the option, which is allowed and generally not even detectable. PC has the option, console should have the option.

But fun fact, I never did that myself and don't need something like that.

This was even posted before my comment and I tend to read a whole thread before commenting something that was already mentioned probably several times. And I also knew the "modern methods" and commented just an alternative.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that ranged killers, or all killers in general, don't have the option to turn on a little white dot. How can you even balance ranged killers if people with built in crosshairs use them and other who don't have that cannot? I mean they could just download one if they play that killer enough and you wouldn't get banned either.
All it would do is give people without them the ability to maybe improve at a killer. But we don't want that because we can't go increasing the amount of good ranged killer players, that would be unfun and boring

Yep. I got a new monitor because I got a gaming PC a couple of months ago and it has a button that adds a crosshair. I accidentally found it when I tried to turn the sound up, lol. I haven't used it once, though. Seems kinda unfair.
