My one concern with SBMM (hackers)

I'll start by saying I like SBMM and had a lot of fun overall with the last test. That being said....

I went against hacking survivors. A lot. And by a lot I mean multiple games in a row at times. I very rarely lose, and obviously hackers never lose. Is there a plan in place to deal with hackers? It can't be business as usual if your top % players are expected to be consistently matched against top % opponents when players can hack their way to that MMR tier.

If you run into a lot f them. Then I would start recording every match etcand get familiar with the report system

This can actually make things even easier for Behaviour to track them, because if Hackers get matched more against experienced players, they will most likely be reported quickly and banned.

True. I hadn't thought of it that way. Most of my gameplay gets recorded. Had one game with a 30 second flashlight blind. Next game was a speedhacker on one survivor and infinite Dead hard/unlimited DS/no hitbox while on a gen on their friend.

They'll screw themselves on mmr at those points patches come and they're waiting for their cheats to get updated, they'll also screw themselves once enough reports gett hem banned. I do expect to see some frustrated players resorting to cheats though. And while I've usually noticed it from survivors I expect to see more killers resorting to it after mmr. Just because I haven't noticed too many killers doing it that doesn't mean there aren't more clever subtle cheaters flipping them on to lesser degrees briefly to not be obvious about it. I caught a twins lately that got tired of my lithes and instagibbed me from full health just before the vault from about 10 meters away at the end game after sluggin the other 3 guys. It was the only time they did it too that I noticed the whole game, but all 4 of us were about to escape lol.

unfortunately there will be a slow climb with more killers doing things like that once they become frustrated with the mmr burnout. They'd be better off clogging up the queues as survivors instead once they reach that point rather than nurturing the toxic feedback loop this game has developed. And queueing only as survivors has been proven once int he past once enough did it to actually lead to much needed attention to issues with balance and killer enjoyability when it made survivor queues long enough... that's a much better response than wasting their money on cheats and nuking their accounts sooner or later.

Hackers will make up the top 5% and soon enough it will be hacker vs hacker. With this data, bhvr can properly balance the game.
